was really excited to watch this since it seemed to have a stunning cast with a very promising story line. and ueno juri and oda yuji did have good chemistry. BUT, alas the downfall came with the actress they chose to play the mother of juri and former lover of oda yuji. she was a very very annoying character to watch and she felt too old for oda! after watching about 5-6 eps, i had lost all interest to continue finishing it. sad... |

Yes there are some comical situations but overall, the characters are not worth it and nor is the story. Despite the cast of great actors this series has, they couldn't captivate me enough to want to watch more every week and so, I give up.

oh mine Takamura Keita is certainly not in condition and his act is at times over, trying too hard. And with Takamura Eren, they make an pretty odd couple. Throw in the mother in law who is his ex-lover, you know the drill. Some of the situational comedy bits do work but who really cares about those characters? |

Jodan Ja Nai! is the perfect title for this drama, "Are you kidding me!?" is really all that comes to mind when trying to describe this show.
How two of the best actors in Japan (Oda Yuji and Ueno Juri) coupled with one of my favourite directors (Doi Nobuhiro - Orange Days and Ima ni Yukimasu movie) created this terrible drama is beyond me, this is seriously the most dissapointing drama I've ever seen. Everyone involved should be ashamed of themselves. |

This is a very "Jodan Ja Nai!" dorama. A 40 years old ohtaku married to a 20 years old college girl who happened to be the daughter of his ex girlfriend. Unbelievable plot but still enjoyable to watch. A life without you? Jodan Janai! |

I gave this drama a shot simply because Ueno Juri was in it, but she alone could not save this drama from a weak story and little character development. Even Ueno Juri doesn't bring much to the table in this one, sticking to her cute charm and a pouty face to swoon over. |
