Funny series. Though, it wasn't too exciting.. I felt like it was lame at times :/. I think Tanaka Koki isn't too good as an actor yet, he needs some more practice, especially when it comes to serious and honest situations when you have to pull up a serious face. His expressions just seem too lame and weird.. And then there were a scene where he was supposed to cry.. Ugh, it was too weird. Don't take it the wrong side, I really like Tanaka Koki and his funny expressions, so I'd like to see him in more series. I hope he'll improve as an actor - he's just a newcomer after all.
Well.. Even if the series had it downs and ups.. I watched it all through, so I think that's enough? If it was REALLY boring, I would have stopped watching it, but I didn't. So I think I enjoyed the series after all - thanks to Tanaka Koki I guess. I really liked his lame jokes sometimes and how he's nice with people around him ^_^. But I have to say that I liked the one who played the character of Hanagata the best. I thought he was cute in a way XD.. Though he needs some improvement in acting too..
Oh well, all in all, an easy-going series to laugh at and enjoy with. Even if there surely are better series out there, I wouldn't want to miss this one ^_^. |

I wouldn't have watched this series if it weren't for Takashi because pretty much nothing else about it interested me on paper, but I'm glad I did. With his usual ease, Takashi does a convincing job of playing Hanagata-san, who's quite different from his "real life self." Fangirl aside, my favorite performance is Akiyama Ryuji as Momoyama-san. This series is definitely one of the better productions of the Spring 2007 season with its humor and character development. Even Tanaka Koki won me over and I really wasn't expecting that. However, this is still a predictable romantic comedy at the core and it did take me three episodes to warm up to the story. |

Tanaka Koki was surprisingly fun in this, his first lead role! His acting style reminds me a lot of Nagase Tomoya, and I wouldn't be surprised if Tanaka happened to admire his sempai. Truthfully, I began watching this drama for Tsukamoto Takashi, whom I have really come to enjoy. But the entire cast did a great job. All of the tetsudou fanaticism was a lot of fun. Although I didn't understand most of it, I loved seeing all of the trains and the enthusiasm of the characters really made me want to travel to Japan and take a train tour one day. Overall, a great drama for 2007! |

I love this drama! It's one of my favs! =D I have to admit, in the beginning, I only watched it for Koki cuz I'm a big fan of his, but the drama turned out better than I expected! it's cute & funny in some parts, and Koki is just so cute & funny as always! He did great! =D I love him & Kuriyama Chiaki, I thought there was good chemistry with them! =D |

Interesting drama. Funny look into the lives of some train otaku. Tsukamoto Takashi was hilarious in it and Tanaka Koki was great! It has some flaws but still an entertaining watch!
Oh and hey, I've been in the same train as Tanaka Koki and Kuriyama Chiaki because I used to live in Choshi and ride Choshi Dentetsu a few times a week. |

The protagonist only joins the `train` club to court girls, yet it turns out the club only has 2 nerdy members: one that is rich but talks about nothing but trains and one that is handsome but shy. Good pace, nice acting, funny dialogue. Very satisfactory for ep1. Protagonist's limited facial expression or acting used up quickly |

Pretty Standard Dorama, but it missed to create an atmosphere for quite a long time whitch the rather thin storyline could not compensate. This doraa is far from outstanding. One good point is that it shows you how a romantic relationship can start even if it looks bad from the beginning. Not so good acting performance. |

the beginning of this dorama is pretty bad LoL. i didn't understand why everyone liked it. but i promise you, if you stick it out, this dorama actually becomes really good. it's a cute story and i enjoyed watching it ^^ |

Started out pretty good but then the characters began to get annoying...and the couples didn't seem to match up correctly..overweight older student does not match up with Rosa Katou at all...Totally weak show! |

Some episodes are better than others. The more dramatic ones are so-so, but the humorous episodes are great.
Definitely not Tsukamoto Takashi's best drama tho. |
