This works best when dealing with recent Japanese history and how this affected the lives of central group of friends. It taught me many things I didn't know about Japan in the last 30 or so years. What isn't successful is when it tries to use the buying, selling and ownership of cars a a metaphor for people's lives, and the resulting interventions from the car sales people, which where just sometimes toe curling. But is the end it was entertaining, educational and starred Natsukawa Yui, and what more could you ask for? (apart from a better script).

Natsukawa Yui is the best thing about this drama that does a nice job of incorporating Japanese automotive history with the story of a woman who tries to make a career as a car salesperson at a time when Japanese women of her age are expected to be married and settled down.

It was o.k., Yui was great as expected, but the subplots with her four classmates got to be a distraction. Wish they'd stuck more with Yui and her struggles as a woman trying to make it in a male dominated business.

Really liked this drama: I liked the historical aspects regarding Japan's economic growth and especially Natsukawa Yui's performance: Feisty, determined, yet vulnerable... I'd buy a car from her in a minute. :)

The show itself was alright- nothing special, had a lot of cheesiness. But Natsukawa Yui was brilliant, as always.

Just goes to show what really good acting can do. The cultural aspects were interesting as well.
