I thought the first episode was HORRIBLE and way too cheesy but it got better and really enjoyable as it went on. Good performances by most, especially Toda Erika, the nerdy guy, and the flight nurse in addition to the "real adult" actors. Unfortunately, the two seemingly main stars of the show, Yamapi and Gakki, were horrible. Pi was so wooden and boring and Gakki was a crying baby who looked waaay too young for the part, with a horrible hairstyle to boot. |

Code Blue Dr. Heli is Yanagiba Toshiro's drama all the way as he gave life to the cold, no emo, all work no play surgeon Kuroda sensei. I love this guy since I first watched him in Bayside Shakedown and the Grand Tribe, he is one awesome actor. His real life performance made the series not just another ER drama. Yamapi was terrific as the intern another cold surgeon in the making, gosh this guy is eye candy. Erika Toda and Aragaki Yuu were adorable as flight surgeons in training. Erika has matured a lot as an actress since Death lNote and Gakky gave credence to her role as a conflicted adult.But the young uns were just the icing on the cake, Yanagiba Toshiro brought life to Dr. Heli and the behind the scenes true to life drama in the ER. |

Started out slow, got REALLY dramatic (almost too much), then ended sort of slow. It was really entertaining to watch overall though! Can't wait for the Special to come out in 09 now! |

Terrible. Characters were boring and without depth. Interactions were minimal. Plot was non-existent. Scenes were repetitive and not touching enough. Maybe I'm not cut out to watch medical dramas. Had to force myself to finish this thing. Surprised at the high TV ratings. |

bland. i'm a big yamapi fan, but the whole idea of this drama just isn't very good to start with. there was no msg to the drama. the plot was weak & characters were weak. i enjoy medical dramas a lot and this one didn't impress me at all. |

Boring.. Had to push myself to watch all the episodes.... Code Blue has some good actors in it (but the dont interact at all). The plot.. well... what plot? Doctors taking care of patients and thats pretty much of it... NaH... imo even Kira Kira was WAAAAAAY better than this one. I mean.. even the main characters doesnt have a background. My suggestion? Go watch something else.... |

There's something missing in this drama. I felt so depressed seeing a doctor like Aizawa -- he's not cool but "cold". Yanagiba was the real lead actor of this drama. What I love in this dorama was the theme song, Hanabi by Mr. Children. |
