First of all... year of showing was 2008 ^^
Ok so een though the story was very similar to the 2nd it also had its differences, this one for a start is much darker. The acting was pretty well done very intense last couple of episodes.
The only one down side for me and I've mentioned it a few times, is the length of the eps, they are just over 20 minutes, it means you have to continue over 2 eps or things aren't looked into as deep as I would have wished. The 2nd series stuck to the standard 45 minute eps so things were a bit more meaty and there were more characters to flesh out rather than just the main 2.
Overall a good series and definitely worth a watch ^^ kudos to Yamanobe and Tazaki, very well done =D

I really really highly recommend this drama. The concept is both interesting and unusual. At first, little of it makes sense and it seems episodical. With each episode one starts to see the connection though.
I prefer this season to the second one, especially because it was slightly minimalistic and obviously not meant to fit everyone's taste.
Also, I like that they chose a theme song that fit instead of a song that probably came with the deal of hiring two members of Johnny's Entertainment.

Really surprising and different dorama. It'd be a 9 if it was a bit more realistic (sometimes during the show I missed some claps... and I doubt a show like that would be on air too long). Anyway I loved how the story developed until it reached a surprising end. Really good story in 30 mins episodes.

The pace of this one is much better than the second one and the story is darker. It felt like the second one is really similar to this, just altered to make the story appeal to a wider audience (which made the second one more typical). I think I like both equally for different reasons.

Effective little dark psychological drama. It improved as it went on as the main story evolved and finished with some satisfying twists. The actual quiz show parts did get a bit tedious after a while however, but as each episode was 25 minutes it never outstayed it's welcome.

the series overall is not bad ~ it makes me ponder wat is the truth or secret behind each contestant while the quiz is continuing . but the finale is good with the twist ~
the 2 actors acted well.

Katagiri Jin was both hilarious and scarily dramatic in this, the first version of The Quiz Show. I really enjoyed every episode and looked forward to seeing how it would end.
