Honestly... i dont like medical doramas (something like ER)... and when i do most of the times the medical dorama in questions is as much unrealistic as possible (take Iryu for example.. or even KiraKira). The background of Kyumei Byoto 24 Ji season 4 is based on real facts on japanese medicine (or at least i think it is).... so yeah.. i didnt like it. But lets be fair... thats just my taste for doramas talking... maybe if u r looking for something with a lot of medical stuff this dorama is excelent (not sure... i know nothing bout medicine). So it's 3 out 10 for this dorama, but maybe its worth a try if u like medical shows. |

Matsushima Nanako has aged somewhat. I was pleasantly surprised by Kimura Tae, who looked more like a rookie in the 3rd series; in series 4, she was most outstanding among the women cast and she displayed such femininity that it's hard not to take a second look at her beauty. Eguchi's acting brought no new breakthrough despite being a real Kyumei patient a few months ago. Still the most essential character around, the show just ain't the same without him. The rest of the supporting cast was rather weak. I would prefer series 2 and 3. |

I'll admit, I only became interested in watching the drama because I really miss seeing Matsushima Nanako on TV. After watching the first episode, I'm certain Nanako-san is also going to be the only reason I'll continue to watch this show IF I do decide to continue. Perhaps it's because I've matured, but the fourth season just seems to be so much more cheesy and unrealistic than the first three seasons (not that the other three were necessarily realistic =P). |

This 4th season of the series spent most time on the problems of lacking ER doctors nationalwide - kind of too serious and didn't have the space for Shindo Sensei's skill on saving lives. However, still love to watch the serires though. |
