The MOST hillarious drama I ever watched!! I was laughing non-stop watching this drama!!^O^ Kashiwabara Takashi and Sato Aiko are just adorable! Although there's LOTS, LOTS of funny scenes...but, they keep on track on maintaining the quality of the story!! There's some touching scenes, too(although sometimes they were overshadowed by the funny scenes =P)! A very entertaining one!

Based on a popular comic book, this drama is hillariously funny and exagerated. Just take on a really light, un-serious attitude while watching it and you'll find that it's quite entertaining! Saito Aiko and Kashiwabara Takashi were great in this earlier work. If you like comic style comedy, this is one of those great one with many follower. Just kick back, laugh and enjoy the ride…I have to say Saito Aiko is too loud at times! |

From a manga, I thought I am way past too old to enjoy this kind of teen drama but I bloody well love it! Superbly animated by Kashiwabara and Sato. I came to the end of the show with a happy silly grin. It has got to be one of the greatest and memorable drama endings. The birth of a very shy lovely smile from Kashiwabara for Sato, poignant because he tried but failed to suppress it. |

Don't watch it if you don't think you can take it. ^^ I'm divided over Kassy - can't decide if he did a great job playing the aloof and bored guy or if he was really bored cos at some parts I really can't tell what the character is feeling. |

Very cute manga-based high school drama. Sato Aiko is a bit shrill, but she does convey the awkward adolencent very well. The standout actor in this one was Kashiwabara Takashi as Naoki. His performance really shines, and you realize that underneath his indifference, he actually likes this girl. The ending seemed a bit rushed, but was so romantic that I forgave it. ;-D |

HILARIOUS! This is one of the funniest series I've seen. I found the actor's over-acting to be extremely interesting, and it makes it seem like one is really just watching a live version of a manga series, which it is. On the same note, the overly exaggerated way of talking and moving can be somewhat hard to swallow at times as well. |

This is one of the drama that i like... Itazura started off interesting, picked up pace but got whiny, annoying and ludicrous towards the end. It was hard to buy Kassy's character's sudden morph from cool, aloof Irie who seems to hold Kotoko in contempt and disgust to an enlightened one who finally realises his true feelings for her. Kassy is the reason to trudge through this though. |

This was a really enjoyable drama even though I watched it in such low quailty. =) Irie-kun and Kotoko had great chemistry together on screen and although Kotoko was a little annoying at times with her constant "Irie-kun! Irie-kun!", you still rooted for her to be with him. Because after all, she was a likeable character no matter how whiny her voice was. The only downside to this drama is that I would have wanted to see more of a kind of "completed" feeling of the end. It seemed a little rushed, though still very very satisfying.
Also Kashiwabara Takashi did a very convincing portrayal of the cold, aloof Irie-kun and the female lead was very animated and was truly like one of those over-obsessive and at times over-bearing anime girls. =/ |

kashi's acting in shota no sushi was more dynamic than this series but this was compensated by (or overcompensated by) sato and asada's characters. the storyline is a pretty typical guy/girl romance reminding me at times of houkago. the last few episodes felt a little bit more rushed than usual and probably could have done better by spreading it into a tenth episode. overall though, an enjoyable dorama. |

The female lead was silly but very hilarious. The male lead was so cool! They matched really well. The script was very nice and romantic. So it was no surprise that the show has since been remade into a Taiwanese idol drama which is also very popular. |

It seems like a one-sided love all throughout the series until the very last scene. The ending was pretty much edited out. At the latter part, I kinda started to get annoyed at Kotoko always calling or even shouting 'Irie-kun'. |

I saw the Taiwanese version first but it did not stop me from enjoying the original. Kassy was sooo good as Irie-kun! The lead girl was very irritating! Hahaha! |

COMPLETELY OVA-DA-TOP! & SO FUNNY! TOTEMO OMOSHIROII!!! Kashiwabara Takashi (Irie Naoki) plays the cool lead with good looks&brains. Sato Aiko (Aihara Kotoko) plays the 'not too bright' girl who's head over heels in love with Naoki. And yes! She's LOUD!!! HA! She's got a big heart and determined to win Naoki over. Over-the-top acting&expressions of Kotoko and her friends, especially Aoki Shinsuke (Nakamura Kinnosuke [Kin]) are just too funny. Episode 8 was TOO MUCH!! I couldn't stop laughing! I think Kotoko's mouth is a laugh-o-meter! The louder it gets, the louder the laughs! Final episode not the strongest. Seemed like that they tried to cram in too much. Although it still ended nicely. Kotoko "NANI KORE!" and "OH MY GOD!" LOL |

A predecessor to Hana Kimi and Nodame, this is also based on a (then) popular manga. Same principle, girl has the hotties for a guy who isn’t that interested. The drama follows her as she goes through the process in trying to be liked by her prince. It has aged a bit and is only mildly funny. I don’t like Sato Aiko and her ears (the female Eita) very much in this, her character his a tad too stupid and did I mention her ears? Kashiwabara Takashi is pretty much convincing as the cold love interest. |
