Kudo Kankuro is one of few screenwriters, Japanese or otherwise, I have become incredibly familiar with. He is a fantastic, comedic writer with some truly brilliant and quirky ideas. This drama had an all-star cast in Hirosue Ryoko and Kamiki Ryunosuke. The young boy playing Saigo was also very talented. I suppose this only drama's failing is also its strength; the reliance on repetitive jokes and extreme acting. I also didn't appreciate the life lessons. They truly broke up the flow of the series, but that seems to happen with all Japanese dramas. |

Thoroughly enjoyable drama! I love the characters, I'm especially loving Hoshino Gen as Uncle Hiroyuki and Kato Seishiro as Saigo. They're both such fun characters. I'm a bit disappointed with myself because I was unable to be an extra in the final episode T^T I had the chance but I had a test the day of filming T^T |

I admit, I missed a few episodes but I am going to catch up :-) and amend the review! I liked all the episodes I had seen and loved the kids :-) People wear their hearts on their sleeves in this drama. One of the first times I liked Hirose Ryoko in a drama. |

Another masterpiece from KudoKan. He gave a heartwarming story of a family in a comedy setting... the best part is you will notice how he took the Great Tohoku Earthquake as an inspiration. I really enjoyed watching the drama and I highly recommend it! |

The story was not really exciting, but it's Ryoko Hirosue drama. The frustrating part is the child want to touch Ryoko's ***** ? I don't know what's the significant of doing that? |

An oddly entertaining drama. There are some really hilarious moments that cracked me, and the drama is not too bad if you just skip over all of the boring life lesson sections. |
