Wonderful, wonderful chemistry between all the actors/actresses especially Suzuki as the unwilling foster-mother and Takky as the unwilling foster-son. Gradually the headstrong duo begin to earn each other's begrudging respect, giving us many light-hearted moments in the process. Meanwhile we are treated to valuable lessons about morality, ethics and professionalism, against the backdrop of a news station.
I feel that what sets this drama apart from the rest is the brilliant orchestral score that does credit to every scene, be it humorous, touching, brave or sad. It really is an excellent drama.. full marks from me!! |

Humourous! Suzuki plays a top journalist of a broadcasting station
who after the death of her recently married husband, gives her the
custody of his husband's son from a previous marriage. Her stepson
is well, er besides cute and all, has that cold, i dont care and i-dont-wanna
live-here-too attitude. What i look through in this dorama is the quirky but
lovable lawyer who tries to make Suzuki accept her stepson Takky but
we cd see that he does harbour some feelings for her too, only his
moral prevents him from admitting it to his bestfriend's ex wife. Hmm..
watch out for a vey young Fukakyon who plays Takky's classmate.Plus,
the realtionship among em three is very good and convincing-shows
the develepment from non existing trust and love, but dynamically evolved
and at the end, when the three of em walk together, u can see that warmth
engulfing them, as if they are a family. A good show! |

I love this drama as it is very fun to watch! I enjoyed the touching stepmother-son relationship that developed between Aso Tamaki (Suzuki) and Ryu (Takizawa). I loved Nagatsuka Kyozo's character (Kubata-san), plus Fujiwara Norika did a great job as Aso-san's rival. Highly recommended! |

Interesting drama about a iron willed newscaster and her stepson whom shes forced to take in after her husband passes away. Although she never admits it, deep sown she cares for him deeply despite his usual high school teen attitude. Suzuki Honami and Takky did a great job here to bring out such an unusual realtionship. She was very elegant in the show, and radiates a certain charm about her. I din like the theme song though.. it was a bit meh...This drama kept my interest thorughout. Recommended!~ |

I loved how they developed the mother/son relationship between Suzuki and Takizawa's characters, and the overall impression of how a news program is put together. It even has a few funny moments here and there. Highly recommended to anyone. |

After watching "Tokyo Love Story", I really wanted to see other dramas that Suzuki Honami had been in, since I really enjoyed her performance in that series and I could not say any less for this one. Rather, she exceeded my expectations yet again, her character as the anchorwoman, Tamaki Aso, was very much career-oriented and serious versus the fun-loving and energetic, Akana Rika.
The chemistry between the characters was also wonderfully created. Tamaki Aso and Ryu (the fifteen year old son of her late husband) grew together throughout the series and they became close. It was touching and very well done. I couldn't help but wish that Suzuki Honami's character and Takizawa Hideaki's character would get together somehow (although that would be a terrible sin) and make another Forbidden Love type series. The chemistry was definitely there. The news aspect of the dorama was also very well done and kept it really interesting. I highly recommend watching this drama! |

A really good drama with great actors and good script. The first half of the show was really funny and emotional, while I found the last few episodes a little boring. But that is probably just me because I didn't care about the newscaster storyline and was much more interested in the dynamics between Aso, Ryuu and Kubota. And, even though he wasn't the lead, Takki showed how amazing an actor he is (even as young as he was back then). It's a great dorama and a must see for Takki fans! |

Suzuki Honami shone, I was particularly impressed with the light-hearted side of her performance. The focus of the drama is more on inter-personal relationships rather than news reporting. It was very good at putting across all aspects of the story, and pretty much the whole support cast delivered very good performances. This is honestly a series that I enjoyed from start to finish.
