It is a very good drama with a strong storyline and impressive depiction by the actors. All the young actors handled their characters well. It has an unexpected but typical ending. However, a very nice ending indeed. Don't miss it whether you are a fan of any actor in this drama or not cos you will become one after watching it. |

Bought this show cos' of Kimura. Turns out to be a rather enjoyable show EXCEPT for the ending. :bang head against the wall:
A rather dark and intriguing dorama.

What "Asunaro Hakusho" was in 1993 bringing together young Japanese actors that would become one of Japan's top actors and actresses today, in 1995 another drama brought together a fine cast. The drama was called, "Wakamono no Subete". Another Japanese Generation Y drama which I consider one of my favorites of all time. Loved it so much that I still wear the"Stay Gold" Wakamono no Subete t-shirt to this day. The theme song "Tomorrow Never Knows" by Mr. Children pretty much encompasses what this dorama is about. Friendship, betrayal, and much more. Very good performances from the cast and a drama that put Kimura Takuya and Suzuki Anju ahead in the popularity polls for top entertainer on geinou magazines at the time. It has it's dark moments (well, it is a dark drama) but the surprise ending will shock any drama watcher. I'm not at all into dark dramas but this one, I'm not sure why I like it...I just do. A very dark and intriguing drama with an ending that will yank out your heart and stomp on it!- KNDY [note: The book version ends on a happier note]. |

I loved this drama. I think it captured how young people of today agonize over different things. I mean, it's hard times, huh?
I could feel the pain of characters because I myself have been through those pains (or feeling those pains).
I also loved Takeshi....Takeshi was so cute..♡
I was also surprised to see Eri Fukatsu and Takao Osawa in this..
