The story is about a family with complicated problems. The man is a doctor, whose wife was involved in an affair, which accidentally resulted in the death of their daughter. Desperate to replace their lost child, the couple adopted a girl who grew up to be hated by her stepparents, especially her stepmom, who tried to kill her numerously. The hatred grew over time, while love blooms between the girl and her step brother. This complicated story sort of a psychological, mind-boggling plot that is "challenging to watch". No wonder it's broadcast during the late night shows... This is a dsyfunctional family theme drama. The characters' roles were protrayed in the 'grey zone; area of the human moral system. On the surface it seems like a happy family living together but trouble water runs deep.
