I was expectin a great drama because Nino was in it...and I was a bit disappointed especially with the ending. I have not seen the original and I wont spoil anything but I honestly was dissatisfied with it. I also thought Fukada Kyoko was highly annoying in this series and I liked her a lot more in S.O.S. It's a cute drama but a lot of annoying characters just ruin the goodness of it :/ |

Hmmm..love story with a twist. Fukada Kyoko was alright, but again her 'chou kawaiiiii' acting is a bit overboard at times. Ninomiya was ok as well. A watchable drama but nothing too special. Then ending was not that good thought IMO...it wasn't too my taste. In the end I felt the two main characters kinda "lost out" there... |

This drama started off at an interesting pace with Kyoko and Ninomiya's character secretly dating. Ninomiya plays Minami, a student who has had a crush on Chiyomi ever since that day he met her on the roof a year ago. Since then, he confesses his feelings to her and she accepts. Things happen and then all of a sudden Chiyomi just shrunk. It's pretty ridiculous, but it was still a bit interesting to watch.
Minami's antics in order to hide Chiyomi from prying eyes was always enjoyable to watch, especially when he tries to disguise the fact that she said something by saying something in a higher-pitched voice. But as the drama progresses, the plot quickly becomes old and the ending was terrible enough to make the rating go down a notch.
However, I would recommend this to avid Fukada Kyoko fans and Ninomiya acted wonderfully though he doesn't act much differently than the character in "Stand Up!". |

Minami~~~ he was so sweet!!! He almost stole my heart!! Him and Choumi were so cute together~ like a fairytale couple^^ The dorama revolved around close friends and relatives, and teaches a lot of realities of lifestyle in Japan. Home, school, the city, etc. The theme was 'unconditional love'. The drama was cute, touching and addictive!! Poor Ojiichan ;o; I was so sad for him throughout. Love this drama to bits! Nino you rule~ muah!!!! |

[Minamikun no koibito] is a very cute and sweet drama ne !! Minami & Chiyomi is chooo kawaii together ~ i thought it was merely a comedy kinda drama at first .. but it turned out to be so heart-warming and sweet .. i like that scene where Minami & Chiyomi both sang song at the river side .. playing with the shadow thingy ~ that part is really sooo sweet !!!! |
