I love movies and dramas about food, this one about Japanese Snacks so I assume this drama will make me drool!Originaly from manga, this dorama is about Ando Natsu struggling to be a Japanese Snack Master. Everyday she learns how to make new scrumptious snacks and dishes to sell in her landlady's snack shop located in Asakusa, Tokyo. The dorama is heartwarming and I learn lot of Japanese culture and aestethics! This dorama has its moments that make me smile and make me cry. Although its good, I found it is too slow and draggy at some point that made me snooze.

I love slice of life films and dramas and this series was no exception. There was immense detail in both the creation of gorgeous wagashi (traditional Japanese confections) and the inhabitants of Tokyo's Asakusa. I really enjoyed each of the individual stories and the overall plot of Natsu striving to become a professional at what turns out to be her calling in life. My only complaint is that the series was too short! The finale felt more like an episode in the middle of the series and I wish I could see the further developments of Natsu and Mangetsudo.

An-Donuts!!!! A nice dorama... made me laugh and cry at many parts of the show. The casting is OK... the characters are really adorable. The main thing this dorama lacks (and the main reason i didnt rate this dorama a 10) is the fact that Ando Natsu doesnt really have a main plot. I mean.. OK... An-Donuts wanna be a top chef and all that stuff but at most of episodes it's all about sub-plots and the main character helping other ppl. Nways... a good dorama afterall.

I really enjoyed watching this dorama, mainly because I learnt some things about Jap sweets and some other stuff about Asakusa. I like knowing new things about Japanese culture and daily life so this one was perfect, because it focus on the lives of all people around Mangestsudou. It may seem slow sometimes but I recommend it.

A so-so drama with some redeeming qualities. Shihori Kanjiya is adorable as Natsu. Great chemistry between the chefs. I learned a lot about Japanese sweets and artisans. The show drags at times. There's no real tension or main plotline. Still, if you're into Asakusa and old Tokyo it's worth checking out.

Asakusa backdrop. Cultural setting. Not a fan of azuki beans but every episode is meaningful to watch.
