This is primarily a comedy, but it's only mediocre at best as a comedy. On the other hand it actually works quite well otherwise. It has great pacing and development, interesting characters, and in particular, a decent story. It seems like so much happens in the course of this series, and it's hard to be bored watching it all unfold.
There is a major problem however. The old and tired plot of depicting one reject's determined quest for love has gone completely overboard here. They have succeeded in making him entirely pathetic and gross, but not in making him someone I can relate too. Or even feel much pity for really. The constant use of feces as a gimmick for his character didn't help much, nor did the repulsive expressions of his face. Sorry, but there is a limit to rooting for the underdog. |

I would like to thank Boys on The Run for introducing me to Taira Airi (actually, I first saw her in HanaKimi but she is much more memorable here); she made the dorama watchable. The producers & director did a good job of hooking me from episode to episode even with an EXTREMELY annoying protagonist. His bowel movements (once you start watching you'll understand) irritated the crap out of me (pun intended). Overall a semi-enjoyable dorama -- for it's ending and Taira Airi. If you take that away, I would probably have dropped it, or scored it below 5 (which means it wasted my time and I rather not have watched it). |

Very funny drama. Overall enjoyable cast with some pretty good acting. I also give hair and make-up props for Tanishi's wigs. They were very realistic.
It was a little bit over the top in the crazy department but it was pretty hilarious XD I nearly died the first episode!! |

The first half is too absurd, but it became better in the second half. I like the plot and the involvement of all characters. Worth watching, laughed every few minutes, but don't take the plot too seriously. It reminds me a little bit of Moteki. The end was really great! |

Though I like this kind of Dorama, it was a bit too unrealistic and too overacted for me. The story should have focused on he and his first love keep destroying each other. And I didn't like the fights. And he ended up with the wrong girl. |
