1. Tru Calling's Japan version [Rating: 8/10]
I would say that this dorama somehow the storyline tries to replicate Tru Calling, by means that Momoko-chan (Kitagawa Keiko) will travel back time to save the death by touching on death's belonging. The different is Tru will travel back time whenever the death said, "Help Me". Nevertheless, the enjoyment is still there.

The story starts when Momoko - a clumsy girl who screwed up in hotel's guests wedding. When the wedding cake was about to be shown up, she slipped her foot and tumbled into the cake. The next day, hotel manager asked her to transfer to "clean up" department as a mop girl. Eventually she found out that the place that she needs to clean up is a crime scene.

Together with Ohtomo-san, she saved lot of "unsupposedly dead" people. She always gives the same reason to Ohtomo-san that she got premonition from her dead grandmom, Ohtomo-san has no choice than to help her as Momoko-chan said that he will be cursed by her grandmom if he doesn't help her.

The fun is also with shacho - Higashi@Shigeo-san, the way he acts here is amusing. There was a time that Momoko helped Sacho settled things up with Kazuyuki-san who also run a death caretaker company. They was best friends in the old time, but due to one girl who both of them likes during high school, they had a clash. The girl in fact loved shacho and ever requested him to be cremated when she passed away.

The day when the girl died, Kazuyuki was appointed by her family as caretaker. Instead of cremated her, he held a burial ceremony because he followed what her family wished for. Due to this reason, both of them are not talking each other. And because of Momoko as well, in the end they are friends again.

This drama is light, it's good to relieve your stress and laugh out loud. Keiko acted very good especially with her clumsiness and the ending on how she settled things right. Omoshiroi ne...

2. Keiko-chan was Grand! [Rating: 8/10]
I wanted to watch this drama because I'm a Keiko-chan fan. I wasn't expecting much, considering that she's been a mediocre actress in everything of hers I've seen. I'm so glad that I wasn't disappointed with this drama.

The story-line is rather blue-printed. We've seen it in the Trick series, and more recently in Galileo. But neither of these dramas had Keiko in it and therefore neither had the certain charm that this drama has.

Keiko was grand in this comedic role. Her comedic timing was good and her facial expressions were quite amusing. I was surprised to see Tanihara Shosuke in such a role and I thought the chemistry between the two was grand. The supporting staff was good and I found the plots for the episodes to be intriguing. I never got tired of the repetitive formula.

There's nothing ground-breaking about this drama, and you're not missing much if you decide not to watch it, but I had fun with it and I believe that Keiko-chan has proven that she can succeed as a leading lady.

On a side note, the ending was left quite open, which I'm not sure I liked... but I'm guessing this means there may be a second season. Yatta!

3. Good but lacking [Rating: 8/10]
This was more like 7.5. Kitagawa Keiko was great in her role as a silly character. She put on a good performance that was funny, cute, and charming. She did well in her first lead role. Tanihara Shosuke was also good, but I found the running gag of him flirting with a bunch of foreign women to be cheesy at times.

The plot is generally episodic, but holds its own with some good cases each episode as well as some good comedy along the way. However, the writing falls apart a bit in the last episode. The story lacks a conclusion. Apparently they wanted to make a movie, a special, or a second season, but it didn't go through. The lack of conclusion might not have been so bad but the plot never fully tied the leads' common background story together. They did initially but then suddenly reset everything back to ground zero as if it never happened. This drama could have used another episode to complete its story. However, for what it was worth it was fun to watch and I won't mind rewatching it again.

4. Funny, but it's all Keiko [Rating: 8/10]
Keiko Kitagawa is the cute, absent-minded 21-year old girl setting a course in the world of work - except a mishap demotes her to "mop girl." At a funeral services company. As morbid as it sounds, Kitagawa excels in the comic lead; her wacky grimaces are an unending source of laughs. Sure, the plot device is familiar, and maybe a bit thin, but stay around for the Kitagawa, who has enough charm to fuel the whole serial.

5. Great chemistry!! [Rating: 9/10]
Superb acting from tanihara shosuke,, he could play many different characters, natural acting and very flexible actor. Keiko also surprised me with her comedic role, so funny. All the supporting cast did a great job, no one made me dissapointed.

Not great but not bad either, the plot has been used numerous times; about a girl having chances to go back and change the future. Since every episode is basically the same, it does get a bit repetitive, however, some cases are really touching (episode 9 especially, did bring tears to my eyes). Not all resolutions appeared convincing, some were pretty cheesy and turned out too good to be true. The lead herself, Momoko, did seem irritating due to being too ditzy at first but later became rather adorable. Overall I wouldn't say this is a waste of time, it is rather meaningful, but don't expect too much out of it and you'll definitely enjoy it more for what its worth.

I have only watched 4 episodes - the rest not yet subbed. ItLs surprisingly good despite the whacky concept. A good watch for mystery fans with refreshing dialogues and ideas. Edit: Have now watched all episodes - great stuff, not to be taken seriously though. Would love to see a second season happening. One more edit, rewatching in 2018 and omg how good looking was Tanihara Shosuke in this drama! This has almost nostalgic value, iPods and Erika Sawajiri still a darling of the entertainment world, singing the title track.

TV Asahi somehow amazes me with their brand of mystery comedy just like Trick. This is definitely a nice series although at first I felt that Kitagawa Keikofs acting was a little off especially on the crying scenes but I got used to it and she and Tanihara Shosuke had a nice chemistry together. One is a muscle maniac, the other is a foreigner manic, what a weird combination, really! My favorite episodes would episode 9 and 5 but special mention to episode 7 since I was surprise of its ending.

Great comedy. Good surprise.
It's so difficult to do a good comedy. You need the right acting (Kitagawa Keiko's overacting is just right, and she's funny), the right story with a bit of originality (the time travel provides this), the right second roles (all good - great to see Tanihara Shosuke in a very different role than his usual), and avoid the repititiveness. This one has it all, not outstanding and unforgettable, but very pleasant to watch.

OMG?! It's a Japanese version of Tru Calling! It was entertaining! Much better than I expected! I love watching kitagawa keiko very good in her first leading role, but the big surprise was Shosuke Tanihara in a complete change from his usual character. Keiko and Tanihara Shosuke had great chemistry (of the non-romantic kind) and the rest of the regular cast were funny supporting cast as well. Definitely a recommendation for all Keiko-chan fans.

Entertaining conclusion-per-episode series that's packed with funny and touching moments. Kitagawa Keiko does a great job with her first lead role in a dorama, surprising everyone with her comedic flair, hilarious facial expressions and of course, her great chemistry with Tanihara Shosuke. She does however, needs to work more on her unnatural and awkward crying.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a second season, after a rather open ending!

This was really fun to watch. Keiko and Tanihara Shosuke had great chemistry (of the non-romantic kind) and the rest of the regular cast (the employees at the company, Asami Reina) were pretty funny and interesting too. The plot device (stop touching the stuff of the deceased!) gets tiring after a while but the stories are still interesting enough to keep me entertained. I think Keiko has potential for doing comedic roles.

You wouldn't know what this drama was about unless you have watched it. Having the name of the drama being "Mop Girl" might lead you to believe that it was a love story or some rags to riches scenario, but its more of a mystery and suspense drama. It just difficult tell what kind of drama by looking at the title. Other than that, I was entertained by the drama. I just wish that there was more to the ending.
9. Comments by natzumi [Rating: 8/10]
This drama is a one of the few ones that I liked this season. The several episodes at the end were very good. Overall, I see progress in the plot as the episode progressed from week to week. The main character although quite new her acting was quite convincing and moving. I also enjoy the jokes from here and there.

Actually, 7.5/10. Momoko's whining and pratfalls were tiring over the course of the drama. Her character never ever really comes to terms with her gift: the writers dropped the ball here. Tanihara Shosuke's roguish character Otomo was much more enjoyable to watch and made the drama better for it.

surprisingly good...i had no expectations for this show but i ended up enjoying it. kitagawa keiko is cute, the chemistry she had with tanihara shousuke was really good, it was reeeallly funny, and the story was good, for some reason i loved this show so ill go out on a limb and give it a 10

Not too bad. Kitagawa Keiko can do better as the lead. Tanihara Shosuke is pretty good. I laugh more from him than Kitagawa. Asami Reina as Hina is good too. Everything else seems so-so. At least I don't have to struggle to finish watching this drama unlike many others.

Light comedy about a girl with special powers to go back in time and help solve some misteries. It was really entertaining and funny, but not the best dorama ever. Anyway it was quite original and although each episode could seem to be the same, you'll keep watching it.

Much better than I expected! Kitagawa very good in her first leading role, but the big surprise was Shosuke Tanihara in a complete change from his usual character. Good supporting cast lead by Jiro Sato, another in a longl line of underappreciated supporting actors.

It's about a girl who works for funeral service company who has the ability to see the future, usually related to murder, so that she could change it or prevent it to happen. crime and comedy. My favorite is ep 9, the yakuza's first love.
16. Comments by tartan [Rating: 8/10]
Better than what I expected, the story sounds really interesting, which it is. I started to watch this drama expeting a C-class drama but ended up with a high B-class drama instead, really satisfied with Kitagawa Keiko's acting.

Perhaps a guilty pleasure of mine...I think I enjoy slap-stick comedy a little too much and this drama is proof of that. XD Kitagawa Keiko is adorable and Tanihara Shosuke (my favorite in this show) is just so fun to watch!
18. Comments by Kendesu [Rating: 8/10]
This was actually not that interesting at first except the cute acting done by the main character until around episode 3...maybe because of her unique acting, easy to love.
19. Comments by Eyeyore [Rating: 7/10]
The first few episodes were silly. I prefer the latter ones. Sometimes when man start to reverse history, it doesn't always have a desirable ending.

A very fun drama given the seriousness of the themes. Definitely a recommendation for all Keiko-chan fans. She was awesome in this.

It's a Japanese version of Tru Calling! I think Tru Calling is way much better. The main character, Momoko is somewhat an airhead.

Not a must-watch but a funny show. Especially recommended to fans of Keiko who want to see her in a totally different role.

I did expect more but in the end it was not so bad. Tanihara and his playing pretty much saved the dorama.
