1. Different, Intresting, but Flippin' Weird at the S [Rating: 8/10]
Overall, I like this drama because it's a lot different and more intense than the other Kimura Takuya dramas I have previously seen. It's very suspenseful and leaves you wanting more at the end of each episode. What made this drama watchable was not necessarily the plot, but the characters themselves. They are all very complex, quirky, and different in their own ways. Especially Shibasaki Kou and Kimura Takuya's characters. They are both very dark yet can retain that childlikeness to them.

What really get me weirded out with this drama was the last couple of episodes, especially ending. A part of me knew it was coming but the whole idea of it kinda creeped me out. A lot. The ending was really sad and depressing, but I think that's the only way you can end this type of drama.

I think Kimura Takuya did a really good job in this drama. This shows that he can also play the evil/bad guy, not just the hero/good protagonist all the time. His character was really despicable in this drama but at the same time, he's so damn charming so you cannot help but end up liking him.

2. The darkest drama I have seen to date. Sanma is br [Rating: 9/10]
This drama is 11 episodes of pure tragedy and heartache. The last episode is possibly the most heartbreaking hour I have ever seen in any tv series. It is impeccably written by Kitagawa, as it takes you through the lives of characters unsuspectingly intertwined with each other. Sanma-san is brilliant, and his confrontations with Kimura are some of the best scenes I've seen in JDramas. It's not so much hate for each other that divides them, its something much deeper than that, as we discover through their interactions and as the drama itself progresses. Without the old, cheesy music and some inconsistencies in plot, this could've easily been 10/10. This dark tale surpasses Kou Kou no Kyoushi in its dark eery, nature.

3. Haunting and Mesmerizing Thriller [Rating: 10/10]
This was a haunting drama with great and tragic twists. Wonderful acting by Kimura Takuya, you never really know whether he's good, he's bad, he's in between? WHO is he really? I thought the first episode was disjointed and didn't go with the rest of the episodes, but that's my only complaint. I was on the edge of my seat, at times my jaw dropping. What would happen next? How can this end? It can't end well. I find myself thinking about this drama months after watching it. Also fantastic are Eri Fukatsu, Kou Shibasaki and of course Akashiya Sanma. This is not one for the kiddies, with some sex and violence and overall darkness. But for adults, this is a truly great drama. I can't recommend it enough.

4. decent but not great [Rating: 7/10]
an interesting performance by kimura takuya, quite different from the majority of his roles. the darkness of character was indeed mysterious and well-conveyed. akashiya sanma, eri fukatsu, and kou shibasaki also add worthy performances. however, the evolution of the plot was exceedingly slow which ultimately ends up detracting from the suspense of the storyline. in fact, by the eighth episode i had already figured out the "big surprise" ending which you have to wait for a tad too long. not a drama for the happy go lucky crowd....in it's somber tone it conveys some of the same dark emotions as kou kou kyoushi 2003. far from a masterpiece yet may appeal to fans looking to see something different

5. Ii wa warui, Warui wa Ii, Ai wa nan desu ka [Rating: 9/10]
One of the saddest dramas I have ever seen. A true tragedy as the title Million Falling Star implies (as in the falling of a star implies the death of someone on earth).

The writer has certainly matured a lot since the vague ending of Sleeping Forest and the unnaturally, laughably happy ending of Ice World. He has finally mastered the key of human emotions, the key to all human games - "emotional manipulation" deprived from "solitude," from "fear of solitude," from "hatred of solitude," to "numbing of solitude."

All the actors are perfectly chosen for the role. The music appropriately "positively negative." Lots of symbolism.

Go watch it and hear your heart ache.

6. Similar to 1975 TV starring Sawada Kenji [Rating: ?/10]
Several sources have pointed out the similarities of this Ryo to the Kamon Ryo played by Sawada Kenji in "Akuma Youna No Aitsu / Guy like a Devil" (1975; Sawada was sort of the 70s Kimura.) That one was even more violent and amoral (incest, gay relationship, multiple murders/rapes, bullying/torture, male prostitution, drug/immigrant trafficking.) Check out a photo comparison:

http://homepage1.nifty.com/hachi/16/akuma/ryou.htm

I really loved the 1975 series (available from amazon & panorama: http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005QYP8/qid=1081752816/sr=1-17/ref=sr_1_2_17/249-2932363-8258725), so I'll be picking up this one with Kimura to see how they "updated" it!

This is a great drama about irony of fate, good & evil, how one submits to inner demons and finds redemption thru true love.
The story has so many levels and is so interestingly twisted, wonderfully acted , craftily edited & intelligently directed!!! Bravo to the writer!

I couldn't get the story & theme song out of my head! Now I know what ppl are talking about when they say "dark drama", I felt sad and needed a day or two to come alive after finishing it on a raining day in sunny CA.

And I just ordered a new DVD set with Chinese sub. Can't wait to be taken back for another emotional ride !!! (this time in Chinese) **Avail for trade , 3 dvds, Chinese sub

8. Best drama from Takuya [Rating: 9/10]
A deep pyschological drama with a superb cast. Takuya Kimura shows his acting range in this drama, as the morally ambiguous Katase Ryo. For both Takuya Kimura critics and fans.

Takuya's portrayal of Katase Ryo is at times chilling in his nonchalance and yet enables viewers to sympathise with his sometimes childlike innocence as he plays and manipulates the people around him to forget his own emptiness. Also, he did a very job portraying Ryo's sense of fear and uncertainty when he started to fall in love with Yuko.

All in all, a very highly recommended drama which compels you to think and ponder, unlike some of the fluff out there.

9. Great storyline [Rating: 10/10]
If you watch tons of doramas like I do, you should try this one. First, it will have everything you probably look in a dorama: superb acting (Kimura and Fukatsu are perfect), a mix of laughs, emotion, action, suspense, and some episode endings that will make you watch immediately the next episode.

But most of all, it is an unconventional dorama in that the story is built over all the episodes, with a beginning and an end, not a repeated story over each episode, and that it is built like a movie, with a plot that unfolds little by little, chemistry that builds around the main characters, and - for once - a real ending.

I feel compelled to write a review for this immediately after watching. It is by far,one of the best drama I've watched.Kimura's character here is extrememly different from the other roles he has played. You see his role manipulating different woman and it makes you despise him.

However,as the show moves on,you'll see a lost lonely young child inside Ryo.It's a rollercoaster ride in this show. But you'll grow to love it.The soundtrack is great too, adding on to the suspense in the series.

Definately a dark series with an unexpected tragic ending.I'll recommend this to anyone who loves a good mystery.

This is a show that had stirred up a lot of opinions all over the world. Most of all, they are quite extreme. Because I have been exposed to these opinions, I decided to watch it in a very careful way. Since the Sleeping Forest, the maturing writer's view of human emotion/nature gets a lot deeper now. All three main stars were great, especially Takuya and Fukatsu. In pure acting evaluation, this is a great show! This show gave room for Takuya to show his skill...

I believe this script is not suitable for all dorama viewers. Only some Fan could appreciate this one! I do....

(I watched this drama last year, so I may have forgotten the details)
The beginning part of the drama was rather slow moving. The director protrayed Takuya in such a way that you will think he is the baddie..
However the gradual change in his character came towards the later part of the show, where you see his soft side and you began to understand why he behaved in the bad-guy way.
The ending was extremely disturbing and sad. The twist in tale was really too much for me to bottle. I was really sadden by the ending..it was really beautifuly and melancholic...

Don't look at the cast and draw conclusions for this drama. No one is who you'l think they'll be. It's good to see actors finally play charaters that are outside of what their fans would otherwise expect -- and the results here were great.

This is the first drama since Long Vacation in which I actually liked Kimura. His acting chops were not streched too much, but at least the character was different from his norm. The best actor in this drama was Sanma. You'll see why.

This is not what you would expect from a typical Kimura Takuya drama from the past. This is a non-orthodox (compared with other pop J Dramas) drama with deeply rooted philosophical issues. There is a lot of irony and satire. There are a lot of questions posed in this drama, questions that delve into the human psyche. This is also a suspence/mystery, so the story keeps you guessing from the very beginning. Lots of twists and turns, so for those who likes dramas of that sort, this one is for you!

Um.. really interesting storyline about a guy, Kimura Takuya, being lost in life, without emotions of love and living like a "devil" as they say. He has no relatives, cheating women and just.. living like a beast. Though in his heart, he seeks for love and wants to live as a human. Then he one day suddenly bumps into that policeman and his younger sister. That's where it all begins. The story shows the relationship about those three.

It was a weird ending, indeed. I didn't expect it at all, it was totally shocking. I was like; "O.O... uso.. majide...!" Therefore, I didn't like it at all.. Even though I wasn't expect anything really, I would never expect THIS to happen at least.. Too heartshocking and maybe disappointing.. though maybe understandable even so? Don't know.. but I wish it was a different ending..

Kimura played an excellent role as the "devil". He was convinsing and I could feel his emotions. But the girl playing as 'Yuuko'.. I don't know about her. She shocked me in the beginning. At first, I thought she would be a different girl from everyone else, being serious and facing life and making feelings clear.. But then she all of a sudden betrayed her.. uh, the girl playing 'Miwa', whatever she actually was to Yuuko. That was uncler for me o.O. However, those two were close to each other, weren't they? And then Yuuko went and "betrayed" Miwa by dating with Ryou! I was like; "huuuh, what are you doing? Weren't you the one who was supporting Miwa and yelling at Ryou to think of Miwa's feelings?".

Anyway, interesting plot, kind of weird characters, though interesting as well..., and sad disappointing ending.. It should have been watched, I think. At least for Kimura's interesting character.

Oh, and then. I noticed the 'shocking'-music in the series. Am I the only one who noticed it? Whenever something shocking or scaring happen, that music would play.. I'm pretty sure that it's the same one used in the Korean series 'My sister-in-law is 19', isn't it? I haven't checked it up, I didn't find anything and I'm not THAT concerned about it to search for it like crazy... But I was just thinking it was pretty interesting anyway, hah XD.
2. Comments by Swedish_Japan_Lover [Rating: 9/10]
I am a bit shocked right now since I just finish watching this drama. I though maybe I should give it at least an hour before I comment but wth. It is an extremely sad drama, which I didn't get the feeling of in the beginning of the series, which I think is good! Some dramas tend to mark the series right in the beginning that it is something that will be sad and painful and end bad bad bad [That wasn't a spoiler, I talked about sad dramas in general]. This drama however felt like a romantic one in the first episode, mixed with a bit of comedy then it just got more mysterious as it continued. The thing I liked with it is that you still had that romance-feeling left through the whole drama, which didn't make it too.... depressive? Sometimes sad dramas can get so sad it becomes boring, which this didn't, u still had a warm feeling and your hopes up! Even if Kimutaku's character was a bit depressive you always had the feeling it will get better and he will be rescued from his misery from whoever it could be. Even if some terrible things you still had hopes, it never really was a point where everything just going down. Before I watched this drama I read somewhere "omg you will neeever figure out how things really are!!!" but really? No, I didn't figure it out myself mostly because I was still into that romantic mood, but it's not like anything of what happened in the drama surprised me, maybe just gave me a small shock. You can easily figure some of it out if you just think. I liked this drama however. It was entertaining and even a bit weird and thats what made u wanna watch more. I wanted a little more reaction from both Akashiya and Kimura since they both played very calm roles (Kimura's character was silent as well) and I hardly felt any diffrent when they were supposed to get angry/upset. I do agree this is a must-see for Kimura-fans though, you get to see a lot!
Over and out.

pretty damn awesome
it features the most mature performance from kimura takuya to date. he is so good one forgets he is kimura takuya. that's how good he is in this one.

also very good is igawa haruka as miwa: a stirring, layered, passionate performance.

overall, it probably was a good thing for the drama that fukatsu eri was cast as yuko. while predictable, this is not an easy role to play. this youthful stage veteran brings out the tragedy of being yuko.

some of the music reminded of that in taiyo wa shizumanai.

in fact, music in most of kimura's dramas is used to good effect in setting or enhancing the atmosphere and mood of the work, and so ups the overall quality of each drama.

the end theme piece of sora kara, slow, understated and sombre, brings out the sad sad aura of this tale.

even though the storyline is predictable, one is moved to tears in the final poignant scenes. much has to be said for the 10-episode build up leading to the climatic final episode.

a consistently good and intelligent script was also a big help. as were the silences and the colors used in the drama.

One question though ... why is the title a hundred million stars from heaven?

I'll be particulary severe here because I'm a big fan of Kimutaku and I think that this one is maybe his worst dorama! If you want to see a creepy kimutaku watch nemureru mori, he's much better in it! I mean this story is about love, kimutaku is sad because he grew up alone without any family and so what? Is that a reason to make killed 26 people in a single dorama? Do we have to feel any pity for him although he killed undirectly so many people and a woman with a gun? I'm sorry but I was nearly happy that he died at the end! The population in Japan would have half decreased!!! And don't you find it exagerrated that so many girls fall for him even though he doesn't especially try to seduce them? It's crazy! And the flashback from his chilhood, the fact that he remembers everything at the end is so ridiculous!! I saw this it a thousand of dorama before! There are two good points in it nethertheless: The detective acts quite good and Shibasaki Kou is incredibly hot! want to see her in a lighter dorama!

I didn't really expect anything when I started watching this drama. It was one of the first ones I watched so I knew none of the actors. The first episode was just too random and I had no idea were this was going. I guess what kept me watching were both boredom and the cliffhanger music at the end of each episode. Usually, I ditch dramas easily, so I'm glad that I kept on watching it. It just got better with each episode. There were some plotholes but the characters made up for it. The ending was tragic but so was the story. Thinking about it, the slow start also was part of what I like about it. At first there doesn't seem to be a plot, just random scenes that are only connected by the characters. Maybe I'm slow for not seeing the end happen beforehand but to me it came really unexpected.
No idea how often I watched the drama by now. It's definitely one of my all-time favourites.

This drama portrays a very powerful lesson on karma and how we repay our mistakes. Interweaved through this message, a story of a number of very dark characters is told. An obviously dark character Ryo, who is delightfully portrayed by Kimura. Surprisingly, he turns out to be not as dark as the rest of the characters who are seemingly sweet. The pathetic sweetheart who expects that Ryo will save her - Miwa, another incredibly dark character Yuko who is portrayed as an adopted sister of the main character, and of coarse the main character who is detective Kenzo with a debt to pay from one of his careless actions. I am so impressed with this drama, I would love to apprentice with the production team for this show. It has everything - magic, beauty, mystery, and tremendous talent.

there were quite a few memorable scenes. I actually half predicted the outcome because there were hints throughout the film, so the drama loses points for story but only slightly. what i loved about this show is that the acting, namely by eri fukatsu, was near-perfect. I also liked how the writers made it difficult to watch... ironically a breath of fresh air from the usual jdorama fare. it really leaves you stunned. and sad. but at the same time glad that you got to be part of the audience in watching this. sue me if I don't make sense, but I would describe this drama as life-changing for a couple of days. oh and I changed my rating fr 9 to 10 whilst lowering the rating i gave to the other dramas i watched prior. this drama deserves full marks for execution.

A pretty good drama, but not one of my favorite Kimura Takuya dramas out there. The plot was dark and mysterious making you wonder what will happen next, however there were some scenes/dialogues that can get a little confusing.

I thought the main person that shone in this drama was Shibasaki Kou. She portrayed wonderfully a deranged/psychopathic/child-like female who was obsessively in love with Kimura Takuya's character. The detective did a good job, too. However, I thought that the plot was too planned out and rather ridiculous since everything was soo coincidental ad nauseam. The female lead in this series (that most people found to be wonderful) was okay, but I didn't like her character at all. She seemed a little too desperate.

I can't recommend it enough.

an interesting performance by kimura takuya, quite different from the majority of his roles. the darkness of character was indeed mysterious and well-conveyed. akashiya sanma, eri fukatsu, and kou shibasaki also add worthy performances. however, the evolution of the plot was exceedingly slow which ultimately ends up detracting from the suspense of the storyline. in fact, by the eighth episode i had already figured out the "big surprise" ending which you have to wait for a tad too long. not a drama for the happy go lucky crowd....in it's somber tone it conveys some of the same dark emotions as kou kou kyoushi 2003. far from a masterpiece yet may appeal to fans looking to see something different

A deeply disturbing drama.. an interesting change from the usual light-hearted formulas.

Kimura is brilliant as the tragic anti-hero, slowly revealing the reasons for his lack of humanity as the story unfolds. The supporting cast did well to add to the suspense and even the music kind of lends a haunting effect. The ending theme "Smile" is chosen ironically.

However i got really depressed watching this show. If you are in a bad mood, watching this drama will make it worse =<
P.S. I think Kimura looks really cool in that black-jacket-with epaulettes-thingie.

This is a show that had stirred up a lot of opinions. This show gave room for Takuya to show his stuff...I believe this script is not suitable for all dorama viewers. Only some Fan could appreciate this one! I do....

Still watching this drama, but I have to say the first episode did very little to interest me. Why? I have no idea where the drama is going--what is the point? I didn't get anything vaguely resemblant of a purpose until the VERY last minute of the first episode. 3 episodes into it, and we finally begin to see the mysterious case unfolding--the scars from being burnt on Fukatsu and Kimura are only vaguely interesting. I want to know more about the police case--but this drama goes at an agonizingly slow rate--just like Nemureru Mori/Sleeping Forest.

the ending is sad but i guess that's the best ending that we could get. although i cried my heart out at the end when ryo's letter was read out, i'm glad to see yuko and ryo were 'together' (in a way), finally.
very different to the typical usual kind of kimura takuya's classic drama but definitely worth a try. the pace is sometimes slow especially the first few episodes. but do hang in there and don't give up easily, the story will get more and more interesting/intense as you watch on. love all 3 main characters: ryo, yuko, kan-chan!

I just LOVE this show. Fukatsu Eri and Kimura looked so bloody compatible together yet .. they couldnt be together in the end. I just like Kimura acting as the bad guy sometimes. He is so talented, how many actors/actress can act the bad and good guy so well. Shibasaki Kou is supposingly to play this violent role but somehow, i dont feel that can of aura around her. Her eyes are unique but i just cant descibe it. Kept me glued to the screen all the time, espcially at the end. Cried like hell, whenever i think of Kanzo's situation.

Legendary Mistery Drama!! The Story was great and also the Character, especially Kimutaku as Katase Ryo, He changed my mind about him, he used to perform a "same type" character in his previous drama, Because of this incredible performance, i will vote him in Jdorama, com. Akashiya as Kan-chan and Eri as Yuko are great siblings, they did the job really well. The ending are really "Brave" choice.
Theme Song: Smile [Elvis Costello]: 10 and also the "Maxim wanna be" song in the end of each series is really good song.

Strong storyline. Great acting by lead actress. You can really feel the intensity, the dread, the overall depressing aura of the series. Despite that, I found the show a bit too draggy at times. There are lots of times I wish the people would just talk faster, or get straight to the point. Ending is sad and fitting, though I can't say I'm surprised since I saw that coming. Still, this is a good suspense series. Every episode ends at a cliffhanger making it hard to stop watching once started.

Currently watching this one (just finished episode 9). I'm fascinated by the somber, mysterious story, and even more intrigued by Kimura's shady character. I also like the fast. chimey music they play whenever some new event or revelation advances the plot. ^_^ This drama is very different from Kitagawa's usual works. It is dark and tragic but I find it strangely refreshing. On a side note, the real English title should be 100 million stars fall from the sky, since ichioku is 100 mlln.

ONE OF THE BEST J-DRAMA EVER!
after watching over 40 j-drama, i thought i would never be so pleased again that i would add something to my top 5 j-drama list. but after watching this... i had to review my top j-drama list.

if you a different kind of romantic tv series watch this. (starts kinda slow and sporadic though) great acting and the ending song's gut-wrenching.
because of this, I'm now a fukatsu Eri fan!( i hope she gets married soon haha.)

Watch this show please!

I thought this dorama would sucked. How WRONG am I. Its comparable to a greek tragedy (groundbreaker.com-rolecall).The cast have done a great job portraying the roles. The love of the 3 main cast is so strong, it makes my heart aches. Katase Ryo is one of the most intriguing character takuya-kun have ever played. Eventhough I've expected the outcome, i cried out of shocked when the bullet hit.

Oh and by the way,its been 3 days since i've watch it but my heart still ached.

This is not a generally appetizing drama but would titillate onefs senses if persuaded to dig in. A fatefully tragic story. Somberly moody and tainted.

My interest is piqued by Kimurafs twisted character – an amoral cad who uses his attractiveness to the hilt to sexually enslave and ensnare his female victims in psychological games.

A distinct departure from Kimurafs usually good guy roles and his sexiest to date, judging by the many amorous scenes.

This is NOT your usual cutesy Kimutaku drama. This is serious shit man, I tell you. Really heavy although the acting is great, especially Akashiya Sanma. A good drama for Kimutaku to show off his acting chops. The story at the first few eps were quite vague & slow but when it gets to the later part of the series then it gets interesting. If you want to see this mainly because of Kimutaku, then I suggest you get something else as this drama can be disturbing. :)

Very exciting dorama. Loved how they mixed drama, romance, suspence and Thriller together in one dorama. Worked really really well!
All the actors did a great job... well, I guess it's hard to say anything else when it's japanese. Good acting is just a standard.

Especially Sanma (Kan-chan) surprised me very much.
I only know him from some of the shows he's hosting...

Can't give this dorama maximum, tho. It was good, but just outside my top 10.

I believe this is the best ever Drama Kimura has ever done. Instead of a good guy role he usually plays, this role is more dark. He plays a killer who seduces woman into killing for him. That is until he meets the woman of his dreams, whose scar on her arm fits his scar like a puzzle piece. Then he falls in love and tries to change. Unfortantly the woman's secret leads down the path of unhappyness. If you have to watch one drama, watch this one!

A suspense drama a la "Nemureru mori" that goes a step further. "Nemureru mori" is a better drama though, in every aspect. The 2 main reasons are that this series is too slowstarted & also rather predictable although it tried hard not to be. Much more can be said about the plot, but to do that would spoil the whole story. Overall, it's a dark, tragic & good drama with a nice cast & some impressive acting. I do recommend it. 8+

All I can really say is "wow." I don't really know what else to say. The acting is really great, the characters are pretty cool. But man this plot. It's totally crazy. I can't say it's bad, but I highly doubt anything this insane could ever happen for real. I must applaud the main actors/actresses. They did a fantastic job. This drama had me on the edge of my seat waiting for more, especially getting into the later episodes.

Loved this, despite the viewer ratings and varied opinions in both Japan and overseas. It was painful to watch....in that it was difficult to see Kimura-kun play such a nasty role. The story itself was horribly devastating too - unrealistic, yes, but it still made me cry like mad at the end. Fukatsu Eri and KimuTaku were both extremely good in this, I thought - the only thing that turned me off was Sanma...lol.

people might think that this drama is dark and etc, dat. i totally agree, but we cant deny it has an excellent plot, and the actors esp. kimura takuya and fukatsu eri, not forgetting sanma san, their acting is superb and they totally brought out the characters well..the ending, to me is very unexpected...when i just started watching, i think ryo is a disgusting creep, but it was until the end...u slowly see the real him, the him dat he had hid in himself for soso long....this show is a wonderful one, once again, proving kimura takuya's versatility in acting:P

don't be like me in that I got put off by the bland drama poster and unattractive synopsis. be like me in that i actually watched, enjoyed, and got deeply affected by it... and voted for it. highly recommended if you're mature enough to appreciate a more mature content. stay away if you just want fairytales with endings so sweet they give you cavities.

A must watch dorama if you wish to see Kimura Takuya playing a role that is so so different from his other doramas! The plot is excellent too! Even though it's considered to be a dark suspence dorama, you won't regret watching it. I felt more and more depressed as I continued watching each and every episode of it. It's really a good one trust me! :D

takuya kimura and eri fukatsu were amazing in this drama. it was so interesting to see takuya in such a role and i think he acted extremely well. however, i think sanma-san stole the show. he is such an awesome actor and his brother role really evokes the tears. one of the best scripts around, though the first few episodes were a drag to watch!

Seriously... a million reasons to vote for this story. The writers have learned well and have delivered a brilliant piece of work. For once, Kimura doesn't play the overly 'good' guy. It's a great story about manipulation of people and feelings. Will leave a strong impression on people, whether it be good or bad. Great set of actors.
7. Leyy
so unpredictable...so many twists..kimura-kun's character is dark and at same time soft & vulnerable..amazing how he can pull it through....i almost couldn't breathe in anticipation of the succeeding scenes...whew! hats off to the rest of the cast & crew as well!...

I love this drama..This is the first Kimutaku drama I've watched, and I fell in love with him right away..love Takuya's performance and Eri Fukatsu was great, too..It was very sad..
The ending was somewhat anticipatory, but it still made me cry
12. hidelirium
It's the best performance from Kimura as actor in this drama. Here, there are all genres : a mixture where the passion, the tragedy and the suspense meet. The others actors have of charisma and have their distinctive charateristics. Very nice.
13. aniohevetdramaim
This drama had me feeling many emotions through every episode. Its been awhile since I've been so pulled in to the plotlines and characters of a drama. I don't know how I missed this one before, but its now one of my favorites!

Brilliant acting by Takuya Kimura. Katase Ryo is perhaps the most unforgettable character I've seen in a J-drama. Dark, intense and yet vulnerable. People who love psychological dramas will prob like this.
15. gorgeous_in_tears
I can only say WOW. Fukatsu and Kimura are beyond imagination here. I love them together, I really do. And Fukatsu's the only one besides Matsu Takako whom I love as a love partner for Kimura :))))

twisted - very interesting, never really understood takuya's character development, i didnt like how he was sleeping around, and the ending was a bit sad, good and different from his other ones

Amongst Sleeping Forest, Ice World, and this, this is the best of the author, it is depressing throughout but very well done. Great story and insights into human nature.
