A naive but very predictable drama. Although I think Katori Shingo, Kuroki Meisa, Fujiki Naohito, and Naka Riisa are all fine actors and the show should have been a lot greater than it was, I was just really annoyed by the end. Naka Riisa's character never stood a chance and though I like the way she played her, I didn't like the character. I think that's true for just about everyone in this drama. Actually, I think the most enjoyable parts were the meetings between Harada Mieko and Kobayashi Kaoru. Cute, soft, vaguely romantic. It's sad nothing much came of that. I was honestly rooting for the ugly guy to nag the pretty girl and it was frustrating to see the pretty boy advisor swoop in and steal her away so I guess I resented their relationship instead of rooted for it. In this kind of drama I want the couple I'm rooting for to be successful. Sure the ugly guy found a pretty girl by the end, but it wasn't THE pretty girl, you know? I found this drama somewhat enjoyable however, if only for K$uroki Meisa's beautiful clothes on occasion. |

Exceedingly generic and almost pointless. Most of the cast was boring and there were very few characters I took any interest in. Some of the comedy was quite good, but those moments are few and far between. I actually was more interested in the sort of "villains" of the series, the lawyer and his wife, than in the main stars.
I tend to gravitate to slower, less over-the-top types of drama such as this, so I largely liked it by default, but really the whole relationship was unbelievable. They were very cold and formal towards each other throughout, and I was very annoyed by the tacked-on, color by numbers type of drama that they threw in during the last two episodes, and equally by the spontaneous reconciliation of what feels like acquaintances more than lovers. |

Worth watching drama. I dislike the glamour and glit for some reason. Like how the actors are always perfectly styled and so on. Without this aspect, the drama would be more serious. Nevertheless i liked all the romance parts and how the feelings of a handful people changed during the story. |

It wasn't anything great but I still enjoyed it; I found Katori Shingo and Takahata Atsuko particularly good, and the rest of the cast did a decent job too (with the exception of Naka Riisa, whom I found as incredibly annoying as she was in "Nihonjin no Shiranai Nihongo" - sorry! ^_^;...) |

Good dorama which a slight "old-school" feeling to it, where everything revolves around the feelings of a handful of people. Gradually you get to know that everybody has a deeper reason for their behaviour which lies in their past. The female co-worker of the protagonist was very funny. |
