Funny show. Ultimately won't go into my favorites list or anything but it was enjoyable to watch. Matsuoka Masahiro was too obviously copying Nagase's usual yakuza acting style though, haha. |

A joy from start to finish, although nothing is queit as good as the opening scene. Wonderfully over the top. Matsuoka Masahiro is a fantastic physical comedic actor. Hirosue Ryoko and Tabe Mikako provide ample support, although Okura Tadayoshi was a bit of a wimp. Plot-wise it is rather repetitive, but it is able to make you both laugh and cry with relative ease. |

Somehow I seem to have established a faible for dramas featuring TOKIO's drummer. Anyways, this drama was nice entertainment... nothing I take very serious, but something to watch in between and to have a bit of fun. Apart from Matsuoka Masahiro I also enjoyed seeing Hirosue Ryoko once more. Really a great actress! |

If you like Gokusen, you may like this comical drama, if you don't mind the crass humor from Kenji. The burning eyes effect from Hirosue Ryoko's character gets a little annoying, but she's still overall cute. Yamaguchi Sayaka is pretty! And hurray for putting Sakurai Atsuko in it! |

So far, I have watched the first 3 episodes and I find it to be funny, yet touching, and I'm loving it so far. :) A little repetitive at the end when the older brother always has to save his sister's behind and he and his female nemesis have their ugly face showdown. |

Outrageously funny! Best drama for this summer season's shows......Tabe Mikako has this flair for comedies....similar to Yukie Nakama.....This show was similar to Gokusen in many ways..... |

Hilarious! Loved Hirosue Ryoko, especially. The acting was so exaggerated but it worked! My biggest pet peeve in this series was the combination of Tabe Mikako and Okura Tadayoshi. They both have a loooong way to go as actors and their performances were distracting throughout the series. |

Like with Nodame, the producers choose to emphasize on the manga aspect. What we get are over-the-top performances, an anime-like soundtrack and comic-like costumes. Hence Y+K is not to be taken too seriously and good fun to watch once. |

An okay, funny drama to occupy your time if you're really bored and in need of some comedy. The first two episodes were truly hilarious, but it gets a bit old after that. Not surprising that I didn't bother finish watching the whole thing once I found something better to do =P Still, the gangster expressions of Matsuoka Masahiro and Hirosue Ryoko are priceless ^^ |

Currently watching. Through 5 episodes. Matsuoka Masahiro (Musashi, Manhattan Love Story). Over-the-top and hilarious! Matsuoka Masahiro is LOUD and fun to watch! Overprotective brother. Hirosue Ryoko can be just as tough!
A good cast, plenty of laughs and the touching moment here/there. Some episodes have a Gokusen style&feel to it. Especially with the music&sound effects. |
