1. Very good, must not miss it. [Rating: 9/10]
About the dorama:
I enjoyed this second season more than the first one. I feel all mind games were better explained, and it was nice to see some old characters such as Fukunaga-san in there. It is, once more and as expected, full of twists and turns, but this time not so predictable (which is very good). Great Matsuda Shota and superb Kikuchi Rinko. Nao-chan is still irritably naive but this time she seems to use her past experiences in the Game for good. And sometimes I even felt a bit like her... "What should I do in that situation? Would I trust Fukunaga-san or not?". OK, I would probably not XD but you never know. I must also mention the great production, and I really *loved* the camera movements and the sets, and music too. Impressive. Finally I must say (and this goes for both seasons and the movie) that, again and even with all the masks variety, all Dealers (Leronira, Solario and Kelbim) resembled jigsaw's puppet from SAW too much.

About the movie:
Quite the same as the 2nd season. In fact the 2nd season had 9 episodes plus the film, and it could have just been an 11 or 12 ep dorama. That's fine, anyway. Loved the chemistry between Akiyama-san and Nao-chan, which has developed over the whole series. It surprised me too, although I found the ending a bit fast.

Conclusion: This is one of the very few jdoramas I think it's worthwile rewatching in the future. Don't miss it.

2. Enjoyable but flawed [Rating: 8/10]
Very enjoyable, what a great performance by Kikuchi Rinko, no wonder she's an oscar nominee. Is it me ? but I found the logic used in the Angel -Devil game very flawed -Why didn't they even use the booths during the rehearsal? I also note the script writers use contracts between the contestants during the game but ignore their value when it suits them and enforce these contracts when it suits to further the plot line.

3. Again, good but could've been better... [Rating: 7/10]
Finished watching also the 2nd season of Liar Game, this one as well starts good (I'd even say very good) but then imho gets lost a bit in the second half.
It's still entertaining imho, but like the 1st season, I can't help thinking it could've been better...

4. Not as good as the 1st season. [Rating: 8/10]
The show is still great but it lost its suspense and mystery. N unlike season 1, this season its seems like the director wants to breeze through to make way for the upcoming movie. But still a great show.

Honestly unlikely most ppl who watched liar game im dont really care 'bout the puzzles/games at all (i mean... they r fun to watch but this show put the character in such an irrealistic environment that in the end i'm really interested in the plot). With that being said i must say that this one is a 'lil better than the previous season. Nao~chan (Toda Erika) finally got to do something apart from being a cry-baby who believes in everything. They did a better job with the "main opponent" this time as well... at least now the viewer got the chance to understand the opponet a lil better. And i kind like the ending of this season... where the main char naiveness finally changed something. Altough for some reason i still dont like this show's concept at all i can say that at least they improved something... now i will wait for the movie hoping that they made it even better.

After the FANTASTIC first season the second only could disappoint, so 8 points are still great in difference.
Following problems: To the end and the final stage Nao's naivety starts to get on my nerves, also that she always comes back into the game because of dumb reasons... also we don't know how Eto and some other idiots got it to the final stage...
The 'more-or-less-repeat' of the contraband-game is also a bit disappointing.
And finally the character of Katsuragi - only to see her smiling face makes me personally angry #D
But anyway, again I couldn't stop watching and the end is really GREAT!!!
Fantastic dorama^^

people often worry that a sequel will destroy a drama. Most sequels are made because of the success of a drama, thus expectation will be high. unfortunately large number of sequels did bad and don't reach the standard Only few triumphed. liar game 2 is one of the fews ;)

I was excited to learn that there'll be a sequel for my favourite 'liar Game' though little bit worried that it won't be on par. But! It is great! and I might be enjoying this a little bit more than the first one. (based on ep1-7). I can't wait for the rest of the episodes. And the movie of the final round. The movie better be good too!

Certainly not as good as the first series. The games where a little disappointing, especially in the first half. The first half also lacked the character interaction and mystery which made the first series so interesting. It's the closest thing to a live action anime you're likely to get. Unfortunately it also was incomplete as the final of the games will be in a film.

not as good as season one. but is funnier. as i watched, i really dun like the role by toda erika. the 2nd last game was the best however the last game could have been better especially i don't know what is the purpose of yokoya?! but still looking forward to the movie ending, still one of the best dramas
7. Comments by Susan [Rating: 7/10]
Same old Liar Game... Now with more hype and less mystery! Certainly the sequel to Liar Game is watchable, and at times somewhat enjoyable. But it lacks some of the fun and thrills of the first series. I'm also disturbed by the fact that it's popular enough to conclude with a feature length film.

Who plays Saeki Hiroka in this? Aiya, she really is so familiar looking and I cannot place her name. Maybe she is new afterall! Overall this season felt too sped up and lacked the quality of the first. Still it was enjoyable for me :)

Was going along so good for the first 6 episodes then took such a turn for the worse to end it, seems as though they couldn't come up with any new or interesting games for them to be in, overall a minor disappointment.

Really good, the first series was good and so was this I cannot WAIT to see the movie! Was good to see Nao Chan be a bit less annoying this time and be a bit more helpful :)
11. Comments by Gork [Rating: 8/10]
Was good but too short! plus some of the side characters get REALLY annoying after each ep >.< nevertheless, Matsuda Shota is HOT! haha

Very good for 2nd season, but kinda down when the last game is almost the same as 1st season.
Theme Song: That weird song(again): 7

average- just like the first season, make heavy use of the forward button and you get a decent 15 min show...

This sorta covered up the lame ending for the 1st season but then you have to watch the movie to finish it.

It starts well but then imho gets lost a bit in the second half.
It's still entertaining, though...

Matsuda Shota is still great and apart from this the 2nd season keeps up the good work of the first.
