Synopsis
This drama is an adaptation of the book "Ai wa Mieru ~ Zenmou Fuufu no Takaramono", which covers Tatemichi's life as she developes her musical gift despite her blindness.

In the drama, Ueto Aya's character is named Juri Tatematsu. Like Tatemichi, the character gets married and gives birth to a child, despite opposition from people around her. While raising the child, she continues pushing towards her dream of becoming a professional musician.

1. Aya Ueto - Sugoi [Rating: 8/10]
Based on the true story of Satoko Tatemichi , Aya Ueto produces (for me anyway) her best performance to date as blind musician Juri Tatematsu. And at last Aya Ueto is partnered with an actor that doesn't look too old compared to her (Koide Keisuke).

Both Aya Ueto and Koide Keisuke trained with Tokyo Metropolitan Welfare Association for the Blind and visited Satako Tatemichi and her husband to train for their roles. Some may find it a bit slow, but its well worth sticking with.

A very touching and emotional drama which was short and sweet. It was hard not to be emotionally attached to the characters especially with Aya Ueto playing such an amazing role of the blind Juri Tatematsu. Aya did not just portrayed the blindness with great precision, the emotion was so deep and intense that I needed a tissue in hand since I was tearing practically every moment. The hardships that both couples had to overcome was so inspiring and motivating that I believe everyone should watch this. I enjoyed this drama so much even though it was 1 hour and 30 minutes it seemed to pass by instantly. This is definitely a tearjerker which aims to inspire others who are handicapped, but it is also capable of touching the hearts of those who are not.

Sentimental without going over the top, Aya and Koide were very good, so was Tanaka. Wish they had given more for Tanaka to do, she only had one big scene.

She was blinded and married a blind man. It may sounds funny but the fact was very touching.
