I'm such a sap for family-related stories. There were a lot of touching moments in the drama, but at the same time, a lot of developments didn't make any sense. For example, why would Sakurako suddenly forgive Takemi towards the end. There was little to no justification provided in the story. Although it's easy for me to like Takemi as a viewer since I see her sensitive side, if I were Sakurako, it would probably take a long time for me to forgive Takemi for stealing my boyfriend when I was little then stealing my boyfriend again after we're both adults. Then again, I would probably also never forgive Mashiko, that *******. The whole Yamane kaisha conflict also seem like a random side plot that contributed nothing to the main storyline and was only used to fill in time. |

I wanted to enjoy this series, being a long-time fan of Mizuki Alisa and other members of the cast, but sop much hating on the one sister had me grow apart from this series. The performances were mediocre, the writing was a bit obvious, and can I say this? Someone needs to show Endo Kenichi what a person who has just had a stroke actually looks and acts like. This series loses points for its mixed up plot, lack of realism (I know I know, it's a jdrama) and blockheaded characters who never really come full circle. Too many sisters? Yeah. |

I had problems right from the start when they try to portray every one crazy in love with Mizuki Arisa, I couldn't tell if it was even supposed to be a joke or not, SHE LOOKS LIKE MS. PIGGY, FOR GOD'S SAKE! And furthermore she looks like a man in drag.
If I had been watching this week by week, I would never have made it past the first episode, but since I already had the whole series I felt obligated to finish it, and it does get better and better as it progresses, but it still ends up only decent at best. |

This sounded pretty mediocre and common but turned out rather interesting. It's a nice combination of quirky and serious, taking quite a few uncommon turns, although it also has its clichées. Can be surprisingly good but is also frustrating at times. |

this drama is pretty good. at first i only watched it cuz shige was in it. then i kinda got sucked in... but then it was getting intesnse and i started to dislike the plot a little. but in the end i was semi- satisfied. :) |
