1. A lost gem! ^___^ [Rating: 9/10]
I found this dorama by chance, I didn't expect too much from it, but I got hooked right after a few minutes: it's terribly funny, mocking all the cliches of the genre ("genres", as it's not only about horror, but also SF...you'll find UFOs, time travel, ghosts, zombies...).
The actors did a nice job (particularly Takahashi Issei, Fujimura Shunji, Jay West and Toyama Kyoko - the latter portraying the extremely funny younger brother of the monk, and the totally cute ghost Asami-san), the soundtrack is very nice, and overall it's a great dorama, I wholeheartedly suggest this! ^___^

This series might not have a spectacular cast or the greatest effects. Often it looked so incredibly cheap that I just wanted to look away. But it makes up for it with a superb comedic timing, a unique sense of self, and a great dynamic between the characters. Sure it's not the greatest, but it does incredibly well for a half hour, supernatural/sci fi/fantasy fusion sitcom. Best part? The incredible ending. Well, maybe not the BEST part, but I recall it fondly...
