I'm not a huge fan of historical dramas, but I really liked this one. Watanabe Ken was incredible throughout the whole drama. I honestly don't know much about Japanese history besides the little bits I heard in school and things here and there, but I think this drama made me understand what the Japanese people dealt with after WWII. I recommend this drama to anyone interested in post-WWII Japan.

Fairly interesting but perhaps too much emphasis on Yoshida Shigeru's dealing with MacArthur.
