2. Another great Tokiwa performance [Rating: 8/10]
As usual Tokiwa san carries a cast of lightweights in this drama. I have seen several of her dramas and she has incredible range as an actress of protraying all different types of characters almost effortlessly. Obviously, it is a very sad subject of being a rape victim in their society. But she gives an eye opening performance.

4. has flaws but good [Rating: 7/10]
Tokako Tokiwa's character, Yamashita Mae, is raped and has to learn how to deal with the aftermath. Gradually Oda Yuji's character, Naoki, is the growing love interest who figures out that she has been raped when they were supposed to meet on a date. It's a serious drama but has flaws.

In episode 3, Naoki says he "wont touch" Mae until she gives him permission. Also, Mae has problems with being around men or having men touch her from previous scenes. So what happens after Naoki says that? They show Mae getting into a stuffed subway car with MEN and she has little problem with it! Later she has another flashback/freaksout of the rape - that occurred at night while she was going home alone on her bike btw - while riding in a van with Naoki in the middle of the day on the way to Disneyland...?

Later in episode 8 it seems Mae develops a form of claustrophobia? and almost gets her and Naoki beat up by thugs. The point is if she can stand to be in a packed subway car with men, then she can stand to be quiet for a few minutes in an empty warehouse while hiding with the man who loves her.

Iijima Naoko plays a nurse who tries to help Mae deal with her rape. She shines in most dramas she's in.

About a rape victim walking out of her fears and falling in love with a man again. Delicate acting but a bit draggy at times.

Touching drama. This drama is about life after rape. It is worth to watch. All the characters are so close to real life character in your daily life. All of the actors have delivered great performance.

Tokiwa Takako at her best! I cried whenever she cried, she was just great! This drama really showed the reasons of her being the Queen of J-drama for a loong time once. She's truly the best Jdorama actress.

Good acting. Mablus! Oda Yuji was the most sensible, gentleman guy on earth i'm telling you! Ending sucks big time but still watchable.

Very touching story about a rape victim, and the man who loved her before and after the traumatic event. Splendidly acting by Oda Yuji and Tokiwa Takako.

Heartbreaking and takes you through the pain that Mae and Naoki are suffering, but uplifting at the end. The other plot lines are good, showing how healing it can be to face your fears head on.

not too bad as it is about how a couple overcome a rape incident. It is a bit draggy.

moving... i liked the main actor a lot - both his role and his acting. the struggles of both the characters - one healing and the other coping - was incredibly dramatic and heart-renching.

I had high expectations and it was different to how I expected it to be. This drama focuses on the aftermath of rape victim, the strain of on the victim and her friends and family as she and others tries to deal with the trauma, wounds and baggages. Pacing is slow and changes subtle, but meaningful, though there were moments in the early episodes that I found slightly unbelieveable. The love story aspect actually is quite secondary. All the main characters were very good. I found it difficult though to know other aspects of Tokiwa Takako's character though, as she was almost completely affected by her trauma. Iljima Naoko's character was particularly likeable and I half-wished she would be together with Naoki. A very serious and important drama, but because of the distance I felt with Mae, I was never completely immersed in the story. It was also not particularly moving for me personally, I kind of wish that the story would place more emphasis/impact on the courage involved as well.

Enjoyable and entertaining, but don't go into this series expecting an endless array of plot twists. This is a character-based drama.
