I've finished the regular episodes of Keizoku (there's still the SP and movie to go). A very odd one this, the first 2/3rds are very similar to Trick where rather implausible mysteries are solved in a ...

I've just watched the last episode of Ninkyo Helper. The basic premise is dumb (a group of Yakuza work in an old folks' home) but it turned out to be one of the most involving and in sometimes intelli ...

I'd love to watch a more serious/dark drama.

Some more darker doramas you could try:
Warui Yatsura
Kusenosu
Taju Jinkaku Tantei Psycho
Nemureru Mori
Kou Kou Kyoushi (all versions)
Kono yo n ...

I rather enjoyed Haikei Chichiue-Sama. Actually, I was pleasantly surprised by Ninomiya, especially given his background. He was refreshingly subdued in which was, admittedly, a rather underwritten ro ...

Well, the quality of the competition isn't that great Smile. I was also impressed by Ninomiya Kazunari in Haikei, Chichiue-sama.
