Hmmm well I always called someone born in asia ' asian' , but in UK Asian means 'Indian' and other asian people are referred to as oriental. I found that quite strange.

Most mixed race kids were referred to as plainly Ha-fu (without any nastiness intended! Konketsu no hito is someone of mixed race
