Yes, the literal translation is strange, but I can't really get around how we convert "Be mine" into a similar, simpler English phrase.

Hi, my Japanese friend asked me to translate "Be mine" into Japanese. The literal translaton is, ���̕�������Ȃ��� but this is strange. The English has a more subtle meaning to it.

Can anyone help ...
