Love this anime & comic! Great story & great artwork!

I usually watch mainstream type animes. Right now I'm watching Gokusen, Getbackers & Saiyuki as well as Peacemaker.

I don't think it ended yet.... I don't know about manga though.... He's still fighting Naraku... and I somewhat gave up because it never ends....

I like the opening song for midori... it sounds very nice.

My Neighbor Totoro (by Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli) is a wonderful family anime movie. It is heartwarming, funny, and nostalgic. As others have already noted, the quality of Studio Ghibli anime is outstanding and IMO it stands apart from the rest of the anime produced. It is fortunate that Disney is releasing a number of Ghibli titles in the U.S. so more people can be exposed to some great examples of anime. Also, an anime series which is often overlooked which I would recommend is the Patlabor series. It is different from most of the other giant robot anime in that its focus is more on the human characters and their struggles with the everyday problems confronting them. The stories are well written, humorous, and enjoyable to watch. BTW, I think the TV and OVA series are better than the subsequent Patlabor movies (IMO the first movie was good, but the second and third were not).

yep, that's what made me check at Peace Maker Kurogane (Gonzo Digimation).
when i saw they had produced many of my favorites animes (Gate keepers, Hellsing, Last Exile, Vandread), i started to check for productions from the same company.

PMK was okay, the opening and ending episodes are really good but the middle story is a bit boring.

On inuyasha, I watched up to ep 152, and still no ending in sight...

***SPOILER****
kikyo died in like ep 120+ and then came back to life on 140+ ep.

UPDATE: I gave Aisheteruze baby a try and its looks cute. The animation is kinda like late 80's/early 90's style but yuzuyu's rendition is so cute...

I gave up on InuYasha alittle while back because he still fighting with Naraku (even in the 200's). Man, it's like the Frieza Saga just longer.

Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG
Splendid stuff despite being not able to comprehend all the cyber/techno/politics dialogues, hehe. The opening song is magnificent! Watched ep 10-11, not bad! I demand more action scenes in the further eps Big Grin

i'm more into the old school ones (FFIV - FFVI) for story. i own FFVII to FFIX on PS but have finished none so far... i can't get hooked long enough :p i saw FFX but wasn't impressed (xcept maybe by my friend who played more to blitzball than the actual game). I've yet to see FFX-2. I play FFXI which i find pretty interesting. It has a much more long development rate than any other FF (yes, there's actually a story !) but i like the possibility of doing what you want. I consider it a big playground where i can make new friends. I don't always log on with gil and XP in mind.

i also liked the old school FFs better but, i think that X is definately worth checking out. im pretty sure that you will end up being impressed with it. i was kind of reluctant to play it after playing 8 and 9 but, in the end...i ended up liking it a lot

I enjoyed all the games but Final Fantasy 7 is still my favorite. I am not into the whole online gaming thing so I never got 11. I really enjoyed the graphics of X and X-2 but the story for 7 and the characherts were more interesting to me too.
