I was more saddened about the passing of Christopher Reeve.

Thing is, the Bosox's aces haven't been: Schilling got shelled, and Martinez just got outpitched, period...

Game 3, needless to say, is a must win for the Bosox. Actually, so is game four.... Sweat

Yea they need 2 in a row. Hard to come back against the Yankees down 3-1 or 3-0. Boston plays a whole lot better at home so I like their chances. I can't imagine this series NOT going to 7 games so they have to come back.

My prediction: Yanks in 6 games or less...

Yeah I don't want to sound too confident...but the next two pitchers for Boston aren't exactly workhorses based on their record of 22-19. And without Schilling...things are looking kind of bleak for them (good for me though!!).

I agree it does not look to good for the Sox.

Yup. But the Bosox haven't had their moment which truly defines The Curse for this season, like Bill Buckner's gaffe in '86...

How 'bout putting both the Yankees and the Red Sox in the same league; that way, they can duke it out every year and increase the chances of the Red Sox getting into the World Series championship?

Oh, in the same league, I mean. Maybe, and I'm just guestimating, you might be able to see their league race every other year.

Sorry . . . me not often talk about sports Nut . Me like watch instead.

They're both in the AL Eastern Division. Perhaps Boston would have much better luck if they were in different divisions so they wouldn't have to face NY as often, or at least have to compete with NY for the AL East title every year for a spot in the playoffs.

Though lately it hasn't seemed to matter since they both seem to make the playoffs every year...

Haha....that's funny. Nah...it's not that big of a deal. If you were to ask me about same divisions for the NBA (other than the Laker's division) or the NHL...I wouldn't know either (or care - in the case of the NHL).

Well the NHL is on strike for probably the entire season, so you needn't worry...

Speaking of the NHL, where's Duneman? Haven't seen him on the board for a good long time... Head Scratch

Yeah...the pro sports leagues (owners and players) don't seem to get it...

They're killing themselves...
