l0lx... i dun like them neither (but i watched e whole show...... haha) no offence but i dun think they hawe much of an acting ability (vic zhou only has two or three expressions throughout e whole show), quite tone-deaf (listen to jerry yan sing)... the most talented would probably be vanness, since he can sing AND dance...

no flaming allowed so i'm keeping my message to a minimum :X ... no particular offence to f4 fans... it's their characters who are popular

Hi! I'm new and this is my first time posting.

Just finished watching the [jem] version of "Meteor Garden." I loved it! Looking forward to the Japanese version when it comes out.

I have a few questions.

Why doesn't the [jem] version of MG have the English songs that were on the soundtrack?

How are the Warner Hong Kong DVDs of "Meteor Garden"?
more specifically: does the DVD video contain the English songs?
and most importantly- how's the English subtitle quality? If it's good, I'd consider getting the DVDs.

Any help is much appreciated.

-godai-san

PS- A lil something about myself... I started watching j-dramas when "Hatachi no Kekkon" was broadcast on KTSF in San Francisco. Then I dl'd "To Heart," "SOS," and "Summer Snow." Loved them all! Stumbled upon "Meteor Garden" b/c of word of mouth.

Glad to be part of this j-dorama community. This web-site rocks.

I read that the english songs weren't included because CTS wasn't able to license them for international release. i have the DVDs of MG1 and MG2 and only MG1 doesn't contain the english songs. Re: subtitle, the english is awful but they're pretty understandable Smile

btw. i'm new here Wink

I have a question about Meteor Garden, Taiwanese Drama. I have recently gotten it in a trade, and it is episodes 1-27 complete, but I have seen other sites say that the drama ends at episode 19, and others that it ends at 27, I wanted to know which one it was, and if Meteor Garden II is a different series or another season, and if at all possible how many episodes it is. If anyone could help me I would be very appreciative. Thank you Smile

all i can tell you is that the one that ends at episode 19 is meteor garden 1.. i'm not sure if MG2 has 27 eps... gomen.. but MG2 is a sequel to 1..

Meteor Garden is actually 19 episodes that are 70 minutes long (that's how they were aired in Taiwan). The version you have are the Singaporean TV version and each episode is only 40-45 minutes long.....that's why it has more episodes. You can tell the episodes were cut in half by the ending sequences...the Taiwan ending sequences usually just show what just happened (a mini episode recap) and a couple of previews of the next; in the Singapore version the ending may have sequences that happened many episodes ago.

Yes, Meteor Garden 2 is a sequel and it has 31 episodes but episode 31 is short because most of the last show had NG scenes, making of,etc...

That's probably because there are no seeds....if there are no seeds, it won't complete. If that isn't the problem, try just redownloading the torrent and save it at the spot you saved the last one on. That way it resumes where the old one left of. That's happened to me once or twice before where it would just get stuck even though it had seeds so I just resumed the file and it worked fine. Hoped that helps you.
