yeah, gotta play the cards right, and get acquainted with the girl first, there are lot of hotties out there, and they are tempting, but i think you might have an idea what type of girl to avoid and what types have potential, the more you meet them, i'd say the better the odds and you get to know more of them. good luck.

Ya i play, My Baka friend got me so hooked on the game that i lost so much $$$ gamblin in my senior year. We gambled so much we played during Psychology class and the teach didn't care, he cool, and during Badminton games too

had to say i lost total in the $100s...paid off bout 80% of it. Still play, im on a winning streak lately, but now we dun gamble as much as we use too, wish tho, i think imma getting better

Traditional as in "women mustn't pursue their career and should have X number of kids by age X...women should know how to cook and clean...women should look after their in-laws".

I would tell a man to piss of if I am expected to do any of the above. I was close friends with a Malay guy and an Indian guy who were keen to be more than friends with me after a while, but I just couldn't even though they were wonderful men - they were just too traditional for me.

I forgot to add that I will not date a "mummy's boy" either.

Yeah, I seem to remember there was a similar thread about this at one time. I have dated outside my race before, to my parents' chagrin. I was rather surprised at how upset they were about it, actually, since they talk a good game about being progressive people, but "not in MY house", I guess, huh?

Didn't date any Asian guys, though. Not because I wasn't interested, but because no one asked. That's been discussed, too, in that other thread, which I am too lazy to look up right now.

I did end up marrying within my own race, but it could have easily gone any other way. I think my family was relieved, though. Still surprises me how weird they got about all that, come to think about it. They raise you not to recognize race as a factor, but THEY do!

I would and did date out side my race and am married outside my race now. Highly recomended.

I met interesting people, learned all kinds of things and visited some great places by dating outside my race.

I would. Considering my family history it wouldn't be anything new . I've never dated anyone before though because I'm too much of a tomboy. I'd rather be single anyway . But yeah, there's nothing wrong with dating outside of your race. As long as you're interested you should go for it.

old school is good school.
i think being asian, it is probably more common to date other types of asians, ie: chinese and korean, chinese and Japanese, Vietnamese and korean, etc..................
so i would be open to dating other types of asians, but i can't really say for white girls. I haven't dating outside of my race yet, i may be open to it, depends on the girl.

Heh so far I've only dated a Puerto Rican and caucasian.

however i'm looking to expand on other area's.
