Maybe a router died, hacker, virus, spammer or something. Bang Head
I tried the namespace server ADDICTS-SEIKAI.NET and it takes forever before showing "Move along, nothing to see here." Mr Green

Did a little search with the IP address and there are no problems with layeredtech. (If it's the host) Confused

not sure if it was deliberate or not but somebody was openning up a ton of connections to this site, kinda of a DoS attack. I've banned that IP for now.

I wonder if there is a way to automate that. Essentially ban an IP temporarily if there is an unusual amount of connections from it. It would unban after a predetermined period of time.

I think when this forum is migrating some of the Ip got blocked by default perhaps that's why they think it got banned? Crazy Is that making sense or not? Beaten Seriously I cannot access this site during at work. Yes I do check this site during lunch hour (for refreshment hehehehe) I assume my Ip got accidentally blocked. I can still access this site at home though.

This is agonizing.

Maybe it would be better to shut down the site and fix the problem(s) rather than let it crawl and frustrate the crap out of everybody.... Sweat Puppy Dog Eyes

just banned a few more IPs they seem to come from servers with no websites on them and they're using way to many connections to be legit users, I bet they're scrapping info off jdorama.

Hmm, whatever you did seems to have done the job: things appear to be relatively smooth running right now... Thumbsup
