The reason I said Rui changes is in the drama:
SPOILER
in episode 6 he comes back and he's a little more.....mischevious. Makino sees him kissing other girls, he's pronounces himself to Makino too, and takes the phone that Doumyouji gave her..... it's so odd....
OH NO NOT HARD GAY, that guy scares me. I saw him on the ALL STAR HAPPENING SPECIAL, they showed scenes were he thrusted his pelvic to a dog, which the dog barked so fiercly to him...it was funny & scary at the same time....'
HG is a new opening to Japans term of hiding the gays.....
PS: My mom told me that her friend from Japan is recording this drama, and might send it to me YAY!

well its kinda like that in the manga like with the change in rui...but just that the manga had a bit more depth to the reason behind the change which the drama didnt show..

i see how the complex mind of a tensai works...foist the rat off on the guy and then you get to keep jun to yourself without fear of rodentia. dayem you're smart...

the powers of the primate can vanquish the lowly rat any day....besides that rat has had such a cushy life he's weak and doesn't have the street smarts of some of his poorer brethren

you BET! i have my one objective at the top of my head and however i can get there... ill get there no just kidding, i wouldnt put triky at risk if i didnt have full faith in his ability to use the monkey hand to combat the ratmonster... thru hypnosis and telekenesis and all those other powers... cuz the monkey hand rules the world! the rat has no chance. unless the rat has anothe source of power... like kame's chin...if he gets any skinnier man, i dont think its possible so lets not even THINK about that

Just out of curiosity, where did that come from? I know the maid scene in HYD and I still don't see where that random comment came from?
(btw, for anyone who doesn't know, Japanese people are big on uniforms expressing the job--every type of employment has a specific uniform that holds true today; things that North Americans, especially, find outdated and like 'costumes' are still used........so I can understand why the lady was wearing the maid outfit....even though it did nothing for her figure).

i made several jokes about the scene where domyoji's sister is sitting outside at her expensive los angeles home eating breakfast while being served by this african american woman wearing a french maid outfit.....
in this day and age and in a west coast city such as los angeles, being quite cosmopolitan and liberal in its views and thinking compared to, let's say some cities in the South, there is no way in hell that an african american woman would be wearing such an outfit...it harkens back to a time in our nation's history when african american servants worked on the estates of the landed gentry...as in films such as Gone with the Wind. some might even goes far as to consider it racially stereotypical and insensitive.
moreover, that woman was so highly caricaturized that it's implausible...in fact she looks like Aunt Jemima....hence my comments.
basically that scene was like a big friekin' joke to anybody born and raised in america....unless you are descendants of slave owners and are reminscing about the perceived "good ol' times."
