as long as it's packaged in such a way that would have the officer inference that based on his past experience and knowledge that it is an 8 ball.. it can be confiscated.. it might not be used against you during trial.. but definitely in sentencing. Smile

don't you just love the 4th amendment?

This is information people don't mind receiving - pass it along...

Seems unlikely, but then again, I haven't seen The Man much in recent times.

Yeah, still here, fellas. Just imbued in other stuff nowadays (not that "JDorama.com" has become less important than before). Still chillin'.

Happy new year to you guys to, and to all Smile .

Is that "Bewitched in Tokyo" to which ya'll's are referring? I think I DID see an ad for that upcoming show on IATV. And that channel also keeps showing some kind of Asian comedy showcase that's supposed to happen somewheres in Calif'. Looks like fun.

Will keep checking back here. Victory! Peace!

P.S. Anybody see Geisha yet? Man, one thing I can say about that movie is Koji Yakusho's performance. He wasn't in many scenes, but, still got that Koji Yakusho signature acting. I think the Oscar's best supporting actor category should be between Mickey Rourke's Marv character from Sin City and Yakusho's Nobu character. Anyway . . .

I use that number all the time. The automated version sucks big time that it can't understand me half the time, but if it gets confused, it'll transfer you to a live operator.

from the Mainichi Daily News

read on:

Man stabbed parents because they wouldn't drink his miso soup

KITAKYUSHU -- A jobless man arrested for fatally stabbing his mother and seriously injuring his father at their home here has told police that he got angry because they refused to drink miso soup he made for them, police said.

"They didn't drink my miso soup," he was quoted as telling officers who had rushed to their home. "I couldn't sleep because my parents were arguing."

Investigators are grilling the suspect, 37-year-old Hiroshi Miura, over the motives behind his crime.

At around 10:20 p.m. on Monday, Miura stabbed his 81-year-old father Masao and 75-year-old mother Shizuko in the back at their home in Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyushu, local police said. They were rushed to hospital where Shizuko died about two hours later and Masao remains in a serious condition.

Police believe that Miura was drunk at the time. (Mainichi)
