i thought overall the French played much better than the Italians but once it went to penalty kicks i knew they were doomed.

somehow i kind of agree with you. obviously materazzi said/do something but the headbutt was still bad. no less than what figo did. but oh well... _________________

I agree for provocation of Italians. Words can be more wounding that a blow ! And as Zidane is impulsive !

So true, Brazil is a better team than Portugal, even when they are not in form

Well, I guess in a way Portugal was the most entertaining, I mean, you didn't know how they would fake their next dive XD.
There were to many changes this time, like the golden goal. I actaully didn't like it, but this year when they took it away, I actaully missed it ^^;; OT matches, then PK's...bleh...hated it, and it just made the players more tired for the next match.... _________________
