Right now I'm finishing up Kurosagi and then I'll probably start on Sapuri. I'm trying to watch as many of the top 50 on our list before starting with the new season.

Finished watching Kiken na Aneki earlier. I enjoyed watching this one, and as I have said before, I liked Misaki Itoh's performance here. The development of the story is not fast, not slow, it's just right I must say, and it's also interesting especially the story about the brother-sister relationship. I'll give it an 8/10. Big Grin

Maybe not what most think of when you say "dramas", but I thought I'd mention that Tokyo Shock has been putting out a couple of old action TV series from Japan.

First came episodes of the Zatoichi TV series from 1974. It's out in 4 volumes, two discs per volume. (English subbed)

And recently they've been putting out episodes of Ken Watanabe's series;
"Baian the Assassin". The series ran, off and on between 1991 through 1996. So far there are 4 volumes of this one as well. (English subbed)

Both are period pieces, and both are a lot of fun. Lots of folks that we know from the recent dramas crop up as guest stars.

Oh, and yeah... the body count is very high in both.
