as i mentioned above, Daikokuya located in Los Angeles, is a great ramen restaurant.....actually Los Angeles probably has the best collection of Japanese restaurants in the United States, hands down....many of the restaurants being branches of ACTUAL japanese restaurants from Japan itself.

I wouldn't include Yoshinoya in that group of L.A. restaurants... They're awful here.

agreed...after qilver posted pictures of his meal at Yoshinoya in Tokyo...you realize the Yoshinoya branches in L.A. are NOTHNG like their original Japanese counterparts....we get the dogfood scraps in that regard.
