Thanks for posting this. And you are 100% correct. Morning Musume should not be in the Aya thread. Aya is so pretty and so good.

But Aya can't compare with 8 kawaii-ko chan's. My beautiful princess Sayumi is like 1000 times more kawaii than Aya. And that's only one of the Morning Musume girls.

well i disagree with the sayumi being cuter than aya.
just remember that everyone has different opinions and no one person is right.
seeing as this is an aya thread its pointless saying that as 99% of people here will probs disagree
this could just keep going on and on "i think such and such is cuter" etc so its best just to forget it and get back to talking about aya.

on ebay they have shimokita sundays on dvd with english subtitles so if anyone like myself still has yet to see them all then you could get these!

i got my copy, dunno if they are offical or not but its the only way i'll be able to get them on dvd with english subtitles so that does make me feel a bit better about buying them!

Hmm interesting. Normally I buy only the japanese Original DVDs and have the downloaded subbed ones. But who knows how long Suteki will take to sub the rest. They said they won�Lt drop the project but who knows. The last one is 2 months ago already and there is nothing to hear from the next one.
And here we�Ld have them all now subbed for a OK price. I guess I�Lll get one, too

nubs is right, it is pointless comparing Aya to Sayumi in the Aya thread since you're almost guaranteed to get a bias response. However, being a MM fan and an Aya fan, I gotta say that the kawaiiness of these two are portrayed differently.

Aya is more natural, she knows shes cute but doesnt flaunt it in front of the camera like alot of Japanese idols do whenever they see an opportunity arises. Shes doesnt do anything out of the blue to grab the attention because she doesnt she doesnt NEED to (unless shes on Matthew's... then she goes crazy. )

Sayumi is cute, no doubt about it... but its a different kind of cute then Aya's. It seems like her personality is more... "cooked" by her producers than natural. Having watched all Hello! Morning episodes since Jan2004-present, its hard not to notice how in almost all episodes, Sayumi always declare herself as "Ichiban Kawaiiiii", which seriously its more annoying than cute... and makes me wanna *slap Sayu*. I seriously doubt that Sayu acts the way she does off-camera, going up to her friends and reminding them thats shes ichiban kawaii every 30mins.

But like I said, they're both cute but just in a different way... and everyone has a different definition of what is cute in their own way.

buying the original japanese dvds are pointless i can't understand japanese well enough to watch them without english subs and they are way expensive.
