i really wonder how this guy got his incredibly adorable cheshire-cat smile it was hard not to notice him (even if he was only a supporting actor), coz he has such a bubbly personality, outstanding fashion sense & tat irresistible cheshire smile LOL

nari hiroki is such a great actor but he really needs a lead character role so we can see more of him, does anyone know what he is up to now or where i can download his latest movies, i can't seem to find them anywhere, love his smile, he was great in gokusen and stand up

Premiere September 2nd, 2006 ago. Another movie with him as the leading role! Yay! Together with Yamada Yuu, Oshinari Shuugo, Arakawa Ryo and Miura Kazuma. I sooooo want to watch this!!! Yamada Yuu is also one of my fave!
He plays a genius hacker, who's in a group of 5 otakus active in the Akihabara area who fight against an IT entrepreneur.

Tsubayama Kacchou no Nanoka-kan
Literally translates as Tsubayama Chief's Seven Days. Premiere just few weeks ago, Nov 18th. Starring Nishida Toshiyuki, Ito Misaki, Narimiya Hiroki and Wakui Emi. The story is about a middle-aged man who passes away suddenly and makes use of a young pretty woman's body to return to the living world for 3 days.
Haha!! This should be interesting! An old man's soul possess Ito Misaki's body!!! I bet Narimiya-kun playing the role as her boyfriend...that would be hillarious!^^

NANA 2
Premiere soon! Dec 9th! I soooo cannot wait for this!!!!!!!!^O^ My two favorites, Nari-kun and Tetsuji!!! But....why oh why, Miyazaki Aoi is replaced???!! I don't like Ichikawa Yui

The NHK taiga drama starring Nakama Yukie. Anyone watch this? Is his role big enough? How many episodes did he appear?^^ He had also appeared in the 2002 NHK Taiga, Toshiie to Matsu, as Toshiaki and Nanako's son, nee... ^_^

Kindaichi Kousuke Series ~Akuma ga Kitarite Fue wo Fuku (The Demon who Play The Flute)
An annual Dorama SP Series, starring Inagaki Goro and Kuninaka Ryoko, too. Ha...with this, he had appeared both in the GRANDSON series(MatsuJun's Kindaichi 3) and now, the GRANDFATHER series, ne ^_^

Karei-naru Ichizoku (The Grand Tribe)
In January-March 2007, he joins this TBS taiga(=large scale production) drama casts!!^o^ I'm so excited about this. And his role is quite interesting, too! It's about the Manpyo family, a rich family who dominate most banks, firms and big companies in the Kansai area, and sets in the 1970s decade. It's definitely gonna be a classic!!
Narimiya is paired with Aibu Saki here^^ His role, Ichinose Yoshihiko, works under the Manpyo firm and his boss is Manpyo Teppei (Kimura Takuya), the eldest son. He's involved in a love relationship with Tsugiko (Aibu Saki), Teppei's youngest sister. But their relationship is actually forbidden and they can never be married, because Yoshihiko comes from a different level of family background. However, Teppei support their relationship and even help them deliver love letters to each other^^


Wow....all of his latest projects looks interesting!! This is really good for his career!!! I'm so glad for him. And I can see that he's a workaholic! xD

I think I remember reading a STAND UP article, Nino...or was it Oguri Shun? Said that Narimiya is very serious about his work, about acting. I guess, that's proven true...!! And he doesn't mind to play supporting/small roles in many projects ne, even though he has got leading roles several times, himself....

You haven't watched Unfair? You should try watching it, because seriously, that's one of the best series in 2006, IMO!

Well, you've gotta watch again because seriously, it's not episodic at all. The whole drama centers around one case with one major villain, it's mind-boggling to say the least. Plus, the ending is really heartbreaking.

I agree with you.Unfair is the best drama in 2006 .Actually the first 4 episodes are kind of slow and like a normal police series but after that the series became more exciting and there are a lot of twist that make me hooked with the series.I hope the movie will show who is the real villain.I wonder what role will narimiya-kun play in the movie, can't wait for the movie after unbelieveable surprise twist in the end of the drama series and the special.
