thanks for the info. Yup. you're right, V6 and TxT are under Avex, which is a HUGE label. And SMAP under Victor, etc. Hmmm, so that means eito was put under Teichiku/Imperial because Johnny's don't really have official representation in Osaka/Kansai region. And one thing that make Eito's promo is not as big as other Johnny's because they're not from big labels.
Another curiousity (sorry WD...lot's of questions...)
In hey3x, they say that finally they got manager? or they got new manager?

Yup, no big labels, lack of promotions, and can still be able to sell 200k...Those skeptics, go figure!
In Hey3x, they said the finally got a manager. Yes, among JE boys, K8 WERE THE ONLY ONES WITHOUT A MANAGER! Only a little more than 2 years they finally have one, and only after they got so big!...Happy for them, but also sad about that fact. _________________

Johnny's on top of the charts
Mon, April 16, 2007 (9:39pm EDT)
Oricon's charts for the past week showed strong sales by Johnny's artists.
Kanjani8's sixth single, "Zukkoke Otokomichi," sold 197,000 copies in its initial week, ranking solidly in first place. With this achievement they now hold three enka-related records (the group is classified as modern enka). They already held the record for highest first-week sales with last year's "Kanfuu Fighting." Now they have the most #1 singles (three), and are tied for the most consecutive #1 singles (two).
Also doing well for the week was KAT-TUN, whose "Live of KAT-TUN Real Face" topped the DVD rankings with 175,000 copies.
Endlicheri Endlicheri (Tsuyoshi Domoto's solo project) sold 78,000 copies of his album "Neo Africa Rainbow Ax," but it was only good enough to come in second on the charts. YUI kept her top spot for the second week in a row.
If only the single is promoted more on musical programs like Music Fighter or Utaban, it would have surpassed the 200k! Still happy that they got all the week at no.1 though, beating both Masaharu Fukuyama & Ketsumeishi. _________________

Honjani is ending! There will be a new show replacing it called Jani-Ben, of course still by Kanjani8. Jani-Ben will start on May 2nd. It's supposed to be a show where eito has to brush up their talking skills, and fans are going bonkers with the idea of talk-filled eito instead of action-packed eito. But...
According to Japanese fans, Jani-Ben may not be that different than Honjani. They will have guests coming into studio and teach them things. It's just that this time it's more studio-focused instead of doing things outdoors...We'll have to wait and see... _________________

Why are the fans unhappy? I like talking eito too! They are funny anyhow. Heehee! But perhaps there is a reason that I don't know? Oshiete kudasai!
I think the Japanese fans are OK with it, but the foreign fans prefer the action-packed eito because most can't understand Japanese and will probably be bored with it...Still, it's eito we're talking about and even when we can't understand them, they will always make us laugh no matter what ne _________________

Yeah! I agree! I don't understand a lot as my Japanese level is still pretty low. I guess I got used to watching Japanese shows without any subtitles and all the frustration left after a while and I would just try to understand what I could and the rest just flowed. Teehee! Anyways, I will be looking forward to this new show!

Yeah, I'm actually looking forward to it! I love talking eito too! And the fact that I can understand a little Japanese makes me even more excited to watch the new show _________________

Hi I was hoping someone here can help me. I recently lost a lot of files so I'm having to load in my CDs again. I've looked all around places like CD Japan and YesAsia, even forums but no one seems to list the tracks for Kanfu Fighting in romanji anymore. My computer won't accpet Kanji as a file name .
Can someone post the track lists for both the regular and limited edition.
Thank you.
