Looks like she's making her singing debut too. She's releasing a CD:

Really nice shots. Thanks, IZUMIgrad. This is a pretty quiet thread, so visitors are always appreciated. We don't get many of them. JackClark drops by occasionally with a nice word (thanks Jacky-kun). And Parishilton stopped by a page ago on her way to The Fridge Hotel (she just wants to lose her tan).
These are from Eri-chan's Osaka-city CM. I think that's her latest:
And here she is in her first, dialing away for Docomo (a girl just can't live without her phone):
Some behind-the-scene snapshots (it's all work and no glamour they say):

We hang out when school doesn't keep us too busy. When my doorbell chimes with an Osaka-ben, I know who's standing behind the door with a copy of the local Japanese newspaper she just picked up in Japantown. _________________

My favourite photos from Freeway High High PV. I like her softer and more mature look.

Sachiko-chan can teach you. She already swears like a sailor.
"What? A sailor...?!?"

Nice bunch of rising stars heading for the big league. I see they're all from the Amuse agency. Looks like a special edition on Amuse 30th anniversary.
Amuse is having nationwide auditions. If you want to get a crack at stardom, better get up early, the line will be long.
Eri-chan and her Caless school mates soon-to-become-Boystyle rehearsing for their first TV appearance in TBS Clone Kid:
Already on NHK before Kaze No Haruka, she's guest on Konnichiwa! 80-chan Desu.
Her post-Haruka fame: Yufuin Station Master for a day. "Shingooooo yoshi!"
Now let's see.... Where's my headshot and resume.... _________________

Great photo. I didn't know they were Caless grads. They look like they are only 13 or 14 here.
I found more early Boystyle photos.

Love those Boystyle Pix, IZUMIgrad.
Eri-chan's first visit to Yufuin after Kaze No Haruka.
Welcome home, Haruka!
Let's meet again, Haruka!
These are high-quality DivX video files of Boystyle (they take a while to download):
Kaze Ni Natte Sora Ni Natte
Chizu No Kokoro (with Japanese, Romaji and English subs for One Piece sing-along fans)
Promise You performed live at the 2003 Girl Pop Factory concert with NAO and Perfume (if don't care for Perfume or NAO, you can fastforward to 4:17).
If you don't have a DivX player yet, you can download it HERE (20MB) |
No I'm the one who should be thanking you Shari for posting these great pictures of Eri.

October 2005, a few days after Kaze No Haruka started to air on NHK, Eri-chan is invited to NHK Studio Park for some Q&As (excerpts follow):
Q: Are you nervous right now?
A: Only a little, yes.
Q: What kind of food do you dislike?
A: I don't care for raisins. But I love gyoza.
Q: How about sweets?
A: I kinda like warabi mochi (a Kansai marshmallow-like confection).
Q: Which comedians do you like?
A: I like Bibiru (Ohki)... and also Aoki Sayaka.
Q: Where would you like to travel?
A: I'd like to visit to America.
Q: How many e-mails do you get in a day?
A: From zero to a hundred.
Q: What was you dream as a child?
A: I always wanted to be a singer.
Q: Is there a special person in your life?
A: Right now that special person doesn't have a name.
Q: Have you ever done anything embarrassing?
A: Let me see... In elementary school I blew milk through my nose.
Q: Which part of your body do you like and which part do you dislike?
A: If I dare say it... I like the shape of my eyebrows. I hate my feet.
Q: What is your ideal man?
A: A happy man.
She gets a hello from Haruka's Lil' Sis Asuka (Kurokawa Mei who's actually 5 months older):
"Eri-chan? She's great at making weird faces."
And she gets to meet her mirror image...
