It's right now on-line at d-addicts. Have at it!!!!!
I'm hoping the seeding isn't going to be too sluggish... I'm right now seeding eight other files. I'll start shutting down most of them by the end of today so that will definitely improve things.
The release of episode 3 is somewhat different from the other two... You'll find three files in the BT package:
- The MPEG-2 file itself
- A MD5 file. Use a MD5 utility to verify the package is complete.
- A readme.txt file.
Here's the contents of the readme.txt file:
-------------------------------------
Under the Same Roof
aka Our House
aka Under One Roof
aka Hitotsu yane no shita

You can upload the torrent file to suprnova. Beware, even heavier load is expected
Thanks, Pemu!!!
As for the *censored*, I liked it when they showed Koyuki covering her face... She looked sooooooooooooo cute, with her eyes popping out in total shock!!!! The relationship between Tatsuya and Kazuya really cracks me up! It's like a real-life younger/older brother relationship... Except in my personal situation, I used to beat my older brother up all the time! LOL!
Heads up... I'm going to have to push episode 4 of UTSR on the side for awhile. This past month I've been blasted by distraction after distraction after distraction....
I have about 38 hours of video content from my captures I've yet to edit, a bunch of them being NGN movies. So I need to spend some quality time to process through it all.
I've also purchased Pinnacle Studio 9 and Amazon just NOW shipped the package after delay in shipment of about two weeks. This is the key software for the UTSR project. Once I have it installed, I'll need to work with it a bit to make sure things are working, including the ability to read my projects created under version 8.6.
And, my other project, the Imouto yo fansub project, is taking higher priority because I really want that project to start moving forward.
Therefore, I project episode 4 will be completed and ready for prime-time around early to mid April 2004. Terribly sorry for the delay. Having a one-man non-Japanese speaking operation sucks!
Well, no update on episode 4... Same status and deadline.
However, some great news... If you've been following this thread, you've read about my problems with my editing machine, ATI hardware, crappy video editing software, and so on...
Well, I finally got around to dropping some money down for a new computer. I purchased a used Dell Optiplex GX240 system from the US Navy. They're clearing out thousands of their older systems and are reselling it to the employees and contractors. So for $338.55, I nailed down a Pentium 4 1.7GHz processor, 40GB 9600rpm IDE drive, 256MB RAM, AGP video, built-in audio, CDRW, and USB 2.0, 17-inch monitor, and USB keyboard/mouse. And, because it's a government system, it has a little under 2 years of warranty left on it. So a really kick-butt deal -- I didn't have to worry about shipping costs.
So, I spent all last night stripping my existing PIII capture box and threw some of the components into the Dell system. So now the Dell has 512MB RAM, Firewire, MORE USB 2.0 ports, and the ATI RADEON 9000 capture card.
Installed Windows XP Pro, then installed the ATI software. Works so far. Remember that back on my PIII system, the thing would start to crash once I started applying the service pack and hotfixes. THIS TIME, the Dell system still ran like a champ with the WMP 9.0 upgrade and the DirectX 9.0b update. This is a HUGE breakthrough for me!!!!!!
And... Unlike the crap ABIT motherboard I had, the ATI card no longer conflicts with my Ethernet card. Before on the PIII, I ended up using a USB-to-Ethernet adapter to get network connectivity.
Now for the more serious software installs. Installed my newly purchased Pinnacle Studio 9.0.4. Enabled the MPEG-2 codec, and I'm now FOR THE FIRST TIME able to import ATI captured video into Studio. Also, I tested the analog-to-digital input (the Canopus unit) with my laser disc player, and that part still functions. Many Studio 9 is MUCH MUCH MUCH faster and more stable than version 8. And the Pentium 4 adds to it!
So now I have a much better video editing and capturing environment. I'm one happy camper!!!!!
