Jeez, Windows Media Player on Vista sucks the big one. It won't play DVD's at all Sad

That'll teach you to install Vista.

I heard that there were issues with DivX and Vista as well.

I didn't install it, it came on my new comp. Anyway, PowerDVD works fine. Windows Media Player sucks anyhow.

found an easy way to save all the pictures on flickr with the damn spaceball.gif.

With the adblock plus addon for firefox, just right-click the image (spaceball.gif), select "adblock image...", click ok. Now you can save every image you want. Mr Green

You need an mpeg2 direct show filter or whatever it's called in vista. IIRC, every software vendor needs to pay 3.25$ to the Mpeg group, in royalties, on every software they sell. That's why it doesn't work out of the box in media player. Grumble
