That'll teach you to install Vista.
I heard that there were issues with DivX and Vista as well. _________________

I didn't install it, it came on my new comp. Anyway, PowerDVD works fine. Windows Media Player sucks anyhow. _________________

Much truth is revealed here....switching from XP to XP Pro and removing years of junk as a consequence of reformatting helped tho'. |

found an easy way to save all the pictures on flickr with the damn spaceball.gif.
With the adblock plus addon for firefox, just right-click the image (spaceball.gif), select "adblock image...", click ok. Now you can save every image you want. _________________

You need an mpeg2 direct show filter or whatever it's called in vista. IIRC, every software vendor needs to pay 3.25$ to the Mpeg group, in royalties, on every software they sell. That's why it doesn't work out of the box in media player. _________________
