At last getting back to jdramas the way they should be. Not imitation American boring police drivel or guys picking their noses. Time to revitalize my Sunday night recordings. _________________

And no high school dramas either I notice this drama also includes the lovely and talented Miho Shiraishi and cori's main squeeze Shiro Sano, this drama has potential. |

Interesting that Sano Shiro is in this drama and was in the original Double Kitchen.... As well as Nogiwa Yoko and Ito Shiro... |
Nogiwa, Ito, and Esumi all starred in Triple Kitchen, a SP which was sorta like a sequel to Double Kitchen. However, it turned out to be a pale--make that albino--imitation of the original. So disappointing, given the presence of those three actors I mentioned. The only thing I got out of watching that was how impeccable Nogiwa's English was--the lady seemed quite fluent speaking eigo. |

Yeah. Thank goodness they are off the Gokusen and clones binge. _________________

Yep. I noticed that preview just before Atsu hime. But these days I'm always ahead of ch18. By the time they show it, I've already downloaded or traded for it and usually the traded one is better than the broadcast one. Well at least Atsu hime is new to me and I'm really really into that. _________________

Seriously. It's a rare day when broadcast TV will be able to offer you something you can't access on the web. The people who provide these torrents are like fiends, man. The instant it airs in Japan, it's available at D-addicts...it's pretty crazy when you think about it. |

Yup.
The broadcast-to-torrent time is getting near instantaneous. |
That would be pretty fortunate for where I am. Nobody would think of releasing this on local channels on their own. Not unless they had some sort of proof that it's commercially viable.
Even if they do decide to release it eventually, it'll take maybe a year or two for something recent to even get here, and by then it'll be old hat. I'll take downloading stuff over the interweb anyday. |

Yes, I saw the coming attractions. Another police drama how boring. Either they get a Gokusen type drama or police.... stuck mostly on two tracks. They failed to maintain their aura of boredom by allowing HYD and Haken to slip through the police/shcool dramas. Now back to normal. Thank goodness for Atsu hime to keep me returning to the channel.

| Channel 44 will start showing Daisuki http://jdorama.com/drama.1248.htm with subs starting Sept. 21st 6:30 pm. I didn't know anything about it, but it looks like it might be pretty good, everyone that's commented on it liked it a lot. |
