What an awesome 1st episode. Toma was good but Ohno really drove it home. He played it down to the tee. For someone who is in his first drama Ohno owned it. I got chills at the end when he gave that smirk. Toma was great when he played the conflicting emotion of having done bad in his past and now it still haunts him. Can't wait for episode 2.

watching it now.
will watch it again.. and again.. and again... and again until the next episode comes up.
it was good.
the gap between the goofy, dopey, mumbling baka Ohno and Naruse Ryo is great. i'm sorry to ever doubt your talent Ohno-san.
Toma was good too. A bit overacting at some parts but the reenactment scene was breathtaking.
I'm maybe too focusing on the leads but they are the ones who will make or break this story and the story was already well established in the original. Those who have watched Mawang should watch this too and just leave their biasness behind.
The soundtrack AND the theme song... AWESOME |

am very curious about the ratings. a Ghibli movie was aired on another station so the ratings might not be as high as it deserves. hopefully all the arashi fans, their boifriends, and their family were watching.

i suggest you'll wait until the hardsubbed version then. STORMYteam are doing the subs and will be on d-addicts in.. 2 or 3 days more? Not sure how fast they are subbing this.

Maou got 14% ratings.
I was hoping for more than 16%. That's ok. With the buzz of the satisfying pilot maybe the ratings will pick up later.

i was like "wth?!" when i read about the ratings..but compare it to the other friday dramas, it's got the highest..  .. i guess TBS needs more promotion..  ..hopefully the ratings will eventually increase!!
i also STILL haven't watched it, patiently waiting for the subbed one.. 
another thing, finally heard the full version of Truth!!

whoa!! thanks for the link!! i still haven't downloaded the raw file yet..still downloading CB's 1st episode..
anyways, i've checked the site and the subtitle file is in .ass format.. i haven't used that before, i usually use the .srt format.. is it just the same?? and can it be opened using GOM player?? sorry for too many questions..

it juz same wit .srt.. but mostly .ass format more beautiful n many color juz like hardsub...
yup.. it canbe open in gome player as ussual.. but i'm prefer use MPC or MWV.. because the colour of the font type sub was beautiful... |
