All-region DVDs are usually bootleg "unauthorized" copies, as far as I know.
Singapore is DVD region code 3. So your DVD player won't play region code 2 DVDs (after you have used up your Region Counter settings).
However, there is both free and shareware (try-before-you-buy) software that will let you watch and copy region-coded/CSS-encrypted DVD movies on any DVD drive.
As far as I know, the free software is perfectly good and adequate, so you don't have to pay for the shareware software, get one of the free software downloads that will let you play the region-coded DVDs.

If you want to make your PC region-free, download and install DVD43.
The software is free, very small size, works great. What more could you ask for?
(You could ask for a million bucks, but I don't know where you will find it.)

My suggestion is to make your PC DVD player region-free. It's very simple and easy to do, and it's free.
You can check the Internet for instructions on how to change a dedicated DVD player from region-coded to region-free.
Or you could buy a region-free DVD player.
But it makes little sense to buy a region-2 DVD player. That seems a waste of money, because, without change, it would only play region 2 disks. Also, do you really want to have to check the region code of each disk before you play it, to know which region-coded player it will work on?
To make your PC region-free for DVDs:
DVD43 removes most types of copy protection found on movie DVDs. DVD43 is compatible with Microsoft
Windows Vista (32), Windows XP, and Windows 2000.
DVD43 does not work with Vista 64 bit. You would need a different software for that system.
But if you have a PC with Microsoft Windows Vista (32), Windows XP, or Windows 2000:
just download DVD43, install it on your PC, and see how it works for you.

Aya is on the cover of the new An An magazine- looking gorgeous. I haven't had a chance to look inside the magazine yet so I don't know if there is any more Aya stuff in there or not.

happygirl81,
There is a simple solution to playing any region-coded DVD on your laptop or desktop PC.
Even if you understand almost nothing about computers, you do understand a little, because you are able to use your laptop (or desktop) to connect to the Internet, where you are posting on this thread.
That will start a download of the DVD43 software to your computer (after you click the OK button on the popup box that appears).
Write down the location (the folder or directory) where the DVD43.setup.exe software program is being installed.
The download should be pretty fast. This is a small program in size, which is nice, because it takes up very little space on your hard disk.
After the DVD43.setup.exe software program is installed on your computer, you then double-click the icon for the DVD43.setup.exe, which you will find in the folder or directory where you installed it.
That lets you install the DVD43 program itself, which is very simple to install.
Then, you insert a DVD movie in your computer's DVD drive, and after a very short time, a green smiley face should appear in the bottom right corner of your PC (that area is part of the taskbar).
The green smiley face is an indicator/signal that DVD43 has made the DVD playable in your PC.
You don't have to understand anything about DVD43, because it automatically does all the work for you, once it is installed.
It is a free program, very easy to download and install, and very easy to use.
If you want to look for and buy a region-free DVD player, that's entirely up to you.
But you can save yourself some money by using the free DVD43 program, which works very well with almost all DVD region-coded disks.

yeah, I was going to say that. Buy the region free players in any place where they sell pirated DVD's. hahaha. Plus its better to watch Aya on TV rather than your monitor. _________________
