Have you cried yet?
Actually, not really, no. I do find that the closing credits are the most emotional though - looking at the pictures of the real girl. Sometimes those cause me to get a little choked up.
Maybe when the father said something about wanting Aya to have her silly days as a kid I got a little teary, but not like usual - I'm generally a pretty cheap cry _________________

Over Time, that's my all-time favorite. Background music was provided by three artists - The Brilliant Green, Yamaguchi Yuko and SpitZ ---- that's rare nowadays where it's usually just one. _________________

News no onna episode 1
I downloaded this almost a year ago, but couldn't finish even the first episode for some reason... Watching it now, I like it quite a lot.
It's funny about News no Onna, it kind of snuck up on me. The first couple episodes were just o.k. but somewhere along the line they got me hooked and I ended up liking it a lot.

I'm really enjoying it so far, and I'm really sad that it's almost done. I keep reading that the end isn't favourable, so I'm hoping I still enjoy the outcome.

Omg! That last one was really hard to watch.
And yesh, Tomoya IS hot.

hehe, you're certainly right about that.....feels like i'm watching a painting slowly evolve rather than watching a dorama - on ep 3
I hope that means you're enjoying it! _________________

Just finished The Last Song...
This is probably the most thought-provoking drama I have watched. A lot of it was very meaningful and insightful, but also a lot toward the end left me confused. It also moved too much away from storytelling and the principal characters for my liking, so I wasn't particularly attached, although I imagine others could find some of the stories and the ending deeply moving.
Yamazaki was stellar throughout the whole series. Every episode was original. It was actually quite a hopeful ending... I really don't know what to say about this drama...

I think what some people didn't like is the WAY it ended. Personally, I liked it a lot in fact:
Spoiler (highlight text to read):
The final scene between Esumi and Sorimachi, when Esumi is leaving with Shiina, is one of my ALL TIME favorite scenes in any drama. The two of them don't talk very much, but they sure say a lot!!

When I watched it almost 10 years ago, I disliked the ending. I watched it again last year and although I was still slightly disappointed, I understood why it ended the way it did and liked it better this way. The reason for my change in opinion is because I had matured a bit and now that I was about the character's age this time around, I could put myself in the person's shoes.
On topic: Finished my Shiro's drama. Talk about a crazy drama, but with a nice ending. I also started watching Tengoku e no Kaidan and it seems ok so far. Just an introduction of characters and plotline. _________________
