as much as i like yamapi, i still can't bring myself to like kurosagi. I meant yamapi saved the drama [the rating for it was pretty good]. i'm pretty sure that without him, the drama would go down the drain.
though a lot of yamapi's fans seem to believe that the drama is superb~
i watched the movie too, it was just tiny lil bit better than the series...= v =

Hm.. I'm not sure if we're allowed to ask.. but I was wondering of you guys could recommend me any good jdoramas about normal people in the work-force. I don't really want to watch any high school doramas. Thanks!
normal people? hmmm...
how about the plight of office ladies. Anego is a fun watch with office politics and romance. Shomuni is a work related kind of drama but I can't say the characters are normal though.
Bambino! is ok too if you are interested in the workings of an Italian restaurant in Japan.

He was so good in Nobuta, I thought he got the potential not to be wooden . How wrong was I But the production team also made a waste out of a great plot. Bad lead + bad adaptation = utter waste
Yes, but then I wasn't really impressed by his acting in Proposal Daisakusen.
By the way, why is he called Yamapi? _________________
^ its a nickname given by Takki when he was still a cute little junior. he was always forced to wear pink clothes because he looked darn cute in it so Takki (he's like a Johnny's Jr leader back then) combined Yamashita and Pink together. Yeah.. I know about these stuff
After Kurosagi, I've sworn off from ever having hi-hopes on this guy and I didn't watch Prodai.

Heee souka.. Thanks!
I liked the idea in proposal, and all in all it wasn't too bad.. It just wasn't very good either. _________________
Wow.. thank you xploring, tofuuuuu, and stardope for you nice recommendations! I've heard of Bambino and Hataraki-man before, so I'll definitely check those out, as well as the other two tofuuuuu suggested and the older dramas that xploring suggested

But I must warn you on Ban, the main character in Bambino. He may get on your nerves at the beginning of the series but hang on though.. he gets better. I only rated this an average score but its a nice drama nontheless, with delicious food.

giving a strong recommendation for golden bowl!
the story is nice and simple but the biggest draw for me was the banter between kaneshiro takeshiro and kuroki hitomi, among one of the strongest pairings i've seen to date. _________________
I so agreeeeeeeeeeee with you
you could watch it over n over again and still laugh in each funny scene
I love kimuramatsu combi
Matsu was so natural....and kinda wish to have such g.f
Just watched that again for the 3rd time last week...and the lovey dovey feelings still floating...
Hello, can anyone please recommend to me a romance comedy drama where the guy and girl are both nice people? I know this may sound like an odd request, but I really don't like seeing romances where either of the characters are mean. Also, please exclude Hana Kimi, Hana Yori Dango, Proposal Daisakusen, and Nodame. Thank you!

Hmmmm...well, here's a shot in the dark: ever try Densha Otoko? I'd say both the main characters are nice, plus the rest of the supporting cast drive the series just as fantastic as well!
