Ep. 1 & 2: Shin Katou (加藤新)
Ep. 3 & 4: Toshio Tsuboi (坪井敏雄)
Ep. 5: Takashi Katayama (片山剛)
Ep. 6: Shin Katou (加藤新)
Ep. 7: Toshio Tsuboi (坪井敏雄)
Ep. 8: Takashi Katayama (片山剛)
I'm very sure the romaji is wrong Sweat

Screenwriters:
Ep. 1-3: Maekawa Yoichi (前川洋一)
Ep. 4-8: Nishida Masafumi (西田征史)

I actually prefer scripts by Maekawa Yoichi and direction by Takashi Katayama.

Just an update on the number of episodes its going for 11 Kind of weird since I think it would have covered the whole Mawang series in just 10 episodes perfectly.. I hope they are not trying to stretch it out and screw the lovely fast pace. _________________ <- by Koon

Gah, Maou 8 made me mad because nothing of much importance happened until the end. That ending was really intense though~

I thought 8 was amazing and covered a lot. It might be my favorite episode despite not having a particular profound scene

he had decided all along its just not meant to be for him and Shiori. I think he'd also had planned the end of it all.. I think the main point of the episode is the progress of THE PLAN. We can see Naoto's friends, his brother and father are all heading for the ultimate doom. Naruse is a genius!

ahh..i see..
the hardsubbed ones (those in 1280x720 resolution) were made by Stormy Team..you can dload them either in LiveJournal or aibakaland.. but considering the filesize of each episode, it's always split into parts for the convenience of other users..after you've finished downloading all of them , then you can join the files using HJ Split..

or do you mean joining soft subs and the RAW files?
Try VLC player. Click open file > chose the video you want to play then use the "insert subtitles" option and chose the softsubs meant for the episode.

lol. someone created a new thread for Maou anyways.. Episode 9 is a killer. I love the direction, its clean and the tension between the two leads was electrifying (the same director for episode 1&2 which I like too). However I hate the writers take on the emotional East Shibuya police detectives Ohno perfected the Maou smirk and Toma did extremely well for making the audience feel for his annoying character. However, Ohno still takes the cake for all the spine tingling evilness and pain portrayed. Such contrast to his dorky self. it's nice to know that the ratings isn't dropping for now..hopefully it'll increase by the last 2 episodes!!

i loved on how everything was arranged, like the conspiracies and backstabbing behind Souda's death, it's just too freaking twisted and scary as well..
as for Kasai, he really loves Mari-san with all his ♥ that he's willing to rot in jail just to cover up for her...anyhow, even if he still revealed the truth, i think he'd still go to jail because of adultery and Mari-san might be imprisoned too, so he'd rather take all the responsibility for himself and Mari-san as well..what a tragic love story.. Shake Head

poor Naoto, knowing about the truth really shocked him, and just like what Ryou said, be looking forward to the choice he'll make..seems like he's really been pushed towards the edge of the cliff after all these revelations and i know it'll hurt him more when he finally founds out who's the real suspect behind Souda's death..
