As an aside, how many times has this player "To Be Named Later" been part of trades?
This from wiki:
In 1962, when Harry Chiti was traded to the New York Mets from the Cleveland Indians for a PTBNL, and the teams could not agree on a final deal within the six-month timeframe, the PTBNL was, oddly enough, Harry Chiti. The New York Mets traded him back to Cleveland for himself.

And thus his nickname became "Boomerang." _________________

dodger's broxton blows another one, allowing the rockies to win, 4-3. I think if LA was out of it, broxton would be a good experiment, but since they are in the pennant race, they should hand the closer job to either park or kuo, IMHO. _________________

Unbelievable.
Dodgers take 6 of 7 from two possible playoff-bound teams (Phillies and Brewers), then get slapped around by the near-cellar dwelling Rockies.

After getting swept by the Phillies and Nationals, the Dodgers beat the 1st place D-backs 2 out of 3. To quote Harry Caray, "I just don't understand it!'

I think a lot of Angelenos are saying the same thing. _________________
The Dodger roller coaster is going up again: they beat the Padres, 6-4, to complete a sweep and wind their fifth straight game after losing eight straight.
Final meeting with the D-backs starting on Friday. _________________
